Any of you guys having issues with your truck. Mine has been with the dealer more than Ive had it since 12.21.22 delivery. Biggest problem is "shaking" for lack of a better word at 70-75mph 1500ish rpm. Its now at a second dealer, everyone agrees something is not right but has no clue what it is or how to fix it. Tires rotated and balanced 3x's then completely replaced, little improvement but has not fixed the issue. MY22, 4.0 lariat Screw, 4x4
Bummer to hear. Where do you feel the shaking or is it more of a vibration? In the steering wheel? Feel it in the seats?

Mine is smooth at all speeds. Although I felt a little turbo ‘shudder’ early on when getting into boost at lower RPMs. That seems to have resolved itself with time and the truck ‘learning’ how I drive and I also put some better fuel in it. My wife’s ecoboost explorer also has some slight turbo shudder at times. Just nature of the beast I think.

Good luck, hope it gets figured out!

Before they replaced the tires it was most noticeable in the steering wheel, now that they are new I feel it more in the seat which leads me to believe its something in the back end. I'm a driveway mechanic, this is waaay above my pay grade. Was hoping one of you fellas had a similar issue and could suggest a fix. Ford and both dealers have been very responsive, but as of yet no one can supply a solution.

I switch my wheels and tires out for the winter. On the winter steel and rubber, no vibration or unbalanced shuddering all the way up to 130km/h on the highway. On my stock 18” sport wheels and tires, I was getting some noticeable vibration at 100km/h+.

I’m switching out the rubber and keeping the sport wheels. Picking them up Saturday.

Hopefully this spring it’s an improvement. My big fear is that it’s the wheels themselves.

Tell them to change the drive shaft. It is out of balance. This has been asked on other forums. It is worth a shot...

Much appreciated, I'll give it shot. Would recommend replacing the wiper blades at this point!

That sucks. Hopefully they are able to figure out the issue and get you back on the road.

The one negative I have found is that the power running boards are a little higher, 1" or so, in the 2022 vs the 2017. I will have to retrain my step.

In every other way the 2022 is superior though. I thought you guys were crazy when you said it was worth the wait!

Most of the settings where opposite of my preferences (and many were turned off) so it has been fun finding them all and getting them set.

I know it’s crazy how different these trucks are. Had a 2013 which I thought it was nice. It was definitely worth the wait!

Same! I came form a 2011, so same generation. Everything about this truck is superior...except the Lariat seats! I miss my leather FX4 seats from my 2011. They were like a cushy leather recliner!

I would have to agree. I also had the fx4 and the were like recliners!

Today was the first time that I was "in town" with the new truck. (It is all highway to the office with two stop signs)
Two things I noticed.
Its turning radius is more than my 2017 and the center console goes a little further into the back seat (or the back seats are a little longer)
In my old truck, I could shove an ice chest in front of the jump seat (with the seat down). I cannot in this truck.
From my understanding, the powerboost have "permanent" engaged hubs which would explain the turning radius. (Please correct me if I am wrong)
I am going to have to relearn how to park as it "swings" differently.

My wife says the back up beeper is loud. I may have to change that.

But with that, it was cool to cruise down main street on battery power. ?

Lots of great stories on here of how awesome these trucks are and sadly some stories of issues. To everyone that is having problems with their trucks I sure hope they get fixed and your truck operates on the level of so many others, and so far mine included.
I had an 8 hour drive to MIssouri this past week. What a trip! Bluecruise is truly amazing. Once on I35 south with BC engaged I would estimate that for the first 3 hours of travel on I35 my hands were on the wheel for 15 minutes. Truly hands free driving. I only had to touch the wheel to change lanes to pass. On some occasions it did ask me to put my hands on the wheel as I went by an off ramp.
Now the bad news. Since my hands were not cramped from hanging on the wheel and my shoulders not sore from being bunched up and humped over the wheel I was able to notice how much my ass aches sitting that long in one position! ? ? ?

Hey guys, thought I'd check in with some news, I know a lot of you were build around the same time I was. I have the "dreaded coolant leak", which I don't know much about, but will be researching soon. Headed from Michigan to Florida a few days ago, no issues. This morning, leaving Georgia, the truck told me that Pro Power was not available. Odd, but I thought I'd worry about it later. The truck overheated about an hour into Florida. Duval Ford in Jacksonville has been wonderful, setting me up with a rental, and Candlewood Suites changed my hotel reservation to Jacksonville with no penalty, so things could have been worse. But, my final destination is 5 hours away. REALLY hope my truck is fixed tomorrow. I might be sightseeing here for awhile......we all know the "parts" horror stories. At least I don't have to be back to Michigan until April 4th.

Update on my coolant leak issue. It was a coolant line for the transmission that was rubbing against the axle, causing a hole. My contact at the Ford dealership said the original part number is no longer available, probably because Ford realized there was an issue with that tube. AND, the replacement part number is on national back order with NO ETA. This is one thing when you're home, but I am from Michigan, on vacation in Florida!!! The dealership is providing me with a rental indefinitely, even said drive it home to Michigan if I need to. I asked him how do I get my truck home? He nervously chucked and said "this is the first time I've dealt with anything like this. We'll figure it out". Just praying the part comes in before I have to leave. I have to be back to work on April 5th. I thought I would contact Granger and see if Chip has any ideas. ?‍♀
This situation could have been SO much worse that it has been. I've been traveling through some pretty remote places, at lease I didn't breakdown there, especially a woman traveling alone. People have been very helpful, LOL, except for the Hertz place, that made me stand outside in 86° because I had my dog with me. On the bright side, thank GOD, I wasn't pulling my camper, and look at the miles I'm not putting on my truck. Trying to makes some "lemonade" here.
