2021 Hybrid with 82 k miles. Two months ago started with crazy codes. Powertrain fault, gas pedal fault, general code toss. As many as 40 codes at one time. Trip to dealer, after waiting two weeks to get them to look at it...Sorry Can't find anything....Two weeks later death truck appears and low power mode takes it down. Stopped at a light, truck would not shut off, locked in gear. Would not shift out of park. Was running in all electric mode. Towed to dealer, dragging it on trailer because no one knows how to get it out of park. Truck eventually shut it self off.
Three weeks later, oh it is a short in the hybrid battery. Replaced battery.
Now two weeks later same death truck. Tossed a bunch of short in onboard pro power and pro power unavailable. While sitting in it to reset pro power, her comes all the codes again...Truck won't come out of gear and won't activate engine. Electric mode only. Giant brick again. After reading posts on here waited a bit and tried to restart. Tired of paying tow bill to dealer. Ran it a bit to recharge batteries and was able to see pro power charge appear on screen again. Truck will now start and stop as normal but still shows all codes. Pulled codes with reader suggested and am now able to drive. Will technical bulletin posted online help? How do I get around idiot techs at dealer and talk to Ford. For something that has been happening for 5 years you would think someone could figure this out.
