I have experienced several instances when my F150 does not want accelerate from a stop. Even with RPMs increasing only creeps. After a bit feel really rough shift and starts going. Took several times , but I finally noticed transmission was in 8th gear. Tried a couple times shifting into Park then back. Transmission shower 1st , but when wheels started moving immediately shifted back to 8th. Then repeats rough shift and goes.
Scary felling when trying to turn left in a break in traffic.

Try switching out of Eco mode to normal or sport. If that doesn't work then you may have a possible bad module or the transmission glitched and the adaptive tables are screwed up. For the latter use Forscan and reset the transmission adaptive tables. Then drive it calmly around town for about 20 minutes for the system to perform the initial adaptation. Then normal driving for an additional 250 miles.

If that doesn't help then likely the transmission needs to be serviced.

Actually this is an issue several trucks (members) have posted about. If my memory serves it is the auxiliary pump on the transmission isn't working. The auxiliary pump is the electric transmission fluid pump that runs when the ICE isn't running. If it's not working, the transmission loses pressure during EV and it can't downshift as you slow down. The symptom of the truck being in 8th gear at a stop is the clue I am basing this on.

To test the theory, drive the truck in Tow/haul mode. Or Sport Mode. Since the ICE will not be turning off, the transmission will not be relying on the auxiliary pump, thus the transmission will have the necessary line pressure and shift appropriately.

Let us know please.
And those pumps were backordered, so your dealership needs to get one on order right away.
You have an Ecoboost, not a Powerboost, until the pump arrives.

33% electric miles, talk about having a perfect set of conditions!

There are other posts of the stuck in 8th gear issue -- expect traction on post soon. Don't recall seeing a solution. In an emergency / needing acceleration, go to N and back to D

This is my same problem, workaround is to either be in tow/haul mode or to lock out 8-9-10

Actually in the instance in the picture ICE was running as evidenced by the tach. Not sure about other instances.
Sure am looking for any help I can get because tech at the shop I scheduled to look at it was definitely deer in the headlights.

Thanks, I have shifted to park and back . Tran showed 1st gear but as soon as started moving jumped right back to 8th.

As to the 33%, I have had as high as 45% for a tank around town. Still only about 22.5mpg. Best I have done , was 1 time 23.9 mpg but usually 22.5
