Well no luck after that. So Sunday night the trailer recall OTA downloaded after doing the scheduling trick. So leaving everything the same no new updates downloaded last night. I even work up at 3 am (2 hours after the scheduled time and changed it to 5am. Still no luck. Any tips please? I am on 2.7.1. I contacted my local dealer and they will not do it manually because their internet is too slow. Its a rural dealership and trust me their lobby Wi-Fi is slow.

Also my 2021 is was built in January. Thank you everyone for your help.

I believe I have a Job 2 truck as I ordered it in May 2021 and it was built in July, and I did receive a letter stating my truck was available for receiving the Bluecruise update. However I took it to the dealer a month ago and they tried to do the full update but during the 8 hour update overnight the server crashed and it was not completed. I still have not gotten Bluecruise but have noticed the "MY VIEW" has been reset a few times lately and evetime I look in the system info or the Fordpass app it tells me it was updated. Currently on 2.7.3 as of an update this morning. Not sure if I'm just in the middle of getting all the various updates for it or if I have to go to the dealer to get Bluecruise. Originally I went to the dealer to get the wiper arm and trailer break recall done and they didn't know much if anything about the Bluecruise update. They found the service bulletin that said if you take it to a dealer it is an 8 hour update but if you do it OTA via your home WIFI it can take several weeks. Well its been 4 weeks and I've gotten multiple OTA updates via the home WIFI but nothing for Bluecruise I guess.

Dealer volunteered and did my BlueCruise (while I was on vacay 05/26) successfully, but I see I'm still on v2.7.1, Hoping for more OTA to see if any improvements develop.

Busy with updates last few days, first the trailer update and now 2.7.3. My truck is on the home WiFI, in driveway and scheduled for automatic updates at 2 AM daily. Hopefully laying groundwork for Bluecruise. Got letter in mail on free year.

I have been at 2.3.0 since March 1st. Sent a message to Ford Canada asking how to get the dealer to install any updates, and was told because there are no concerns, they will do nothing but close the file. Truck has been connected to WIFI every night, schedule set for every morning at 3 am. And still nothing.

I am thinking;
1. Because I don't have BC, my updates are on the back burner, if at all.
2. Should I have a some sort of battery charger/power supply connected when at home.

Thoughts?

I haven't gotten any OTA updates, BUT NOW it won't let me select Automatic Updates or Notifications and if I go into Schedule Updates, it doesn't seem to remember my settings.

I had it in last week for 3 recalls (I don't have them right in front of me, but thought one was supposed to fix the OTA Updates).

Anyone else see this?

I had this issue. There is a CSP, 22B08, that you should have been notified of. That fixes the issue you are having. I had it done and it took a day and a half to complete though they estimated 4 hours.

Hi there, Neal! This doesn’t sound like the experience we want you to be having with your F-150. Please go ahead and send a private message to us with your VIN and dealership information. I’d be happy to look into this for you. Thank you!

Yea, that was one of the 3 recalls they did on my truck last week. (I just checked my paperwork)

I called my local dealer with this update and they said if you wernt having any problems there was nothing to do an ignore it. Pretty crappy experience and I will likely not be going back there again.

When you think about it, you have to wonder if ANYONE that works in the service department actually drives a 2021 - 2022 F150?

It's as if some dealerships are truly clueless about the product that is sold out front.

This is basically what Ford Canada told me when I inquired about getting the dealer to update my truck... "No concerns....No update....Close file"
