How To Install Factory 360 Camera System

Update on my install, all wiring has been completed and front emblem and camera installed. I am waiting now on my mirrors and module and have tested the front camera using the existing back camera plug in pin #2 and camera functions and wiring is good.

I wanted to share some info with whoever is doing this to their truck. Ford has actually done away with the front camera washer system on the "23 trucks and gone with just a camera and emblem system. I was able to pick one up on eBay, part number NL34-19H350-LA, for $200. Attached are photos of what I got since my truck has the chrome grill. They also come in the black and chrome version but I don't know any part numbers. I like that you don't have to buy all the extra hardware to hook up a washer system that I suspect doesn't do a whole lot.

Good info, I added the washer to my 23, it helps a little. I’m sure if i was on a trip it would be useful. My worry was it would leave water spots on the grill but I haven’t noticed it yet. I appreciate the update! It appears it still uses the same bracket on the back? I cannot get that part number to pull anything up besides eBay. How did you come across this?

I got it on eBay and I'm thinking it is not the correct part number, probably only way to find it is to have someone look up the part for a '23 model using the VIN. I gotta say thank you again because I thought this job would be overwhelming but your video and documentation are making it doable. Without your info I would not have known where to start this whole project.

I gambled and opted for a used 2022 F150 IPMA ML3T-14G647-FBA off of eBay for $152. Thanks to @Tlusk7 for all his information and videos the whole ordeal ended up very well. I used the Forscan guidance he posted and then turned off the aux bed camera as I did my install without installing one.

All in I did the job for $1300 and planning to sell my existing mirrors to drop that down a little.

The best I can tell you is once I installed it I went into Forscan and loaded it as built. There are numerous videos on YouTube of how to do this if unfamiliar. Then I used the changes that @Tlusk7 listed in his documentation for the install and everything worked as it should.

Just now seeing this, but I agree. It is very overwhelming which is why I did the write up and video. It’s not a YouTube step by step, but you are going to have to be pretty mechanically inclined to do this so I was just trying to offer tips on the hard parts, and provide all of the info needed. I researched it for weeks, and spent hours upon hours researching schematics and parts and talking to people that had done it like Jesse. I myself couldn’t have done it without his help.

I’m glad my documentation helped you, it’s good to hear or people using it and having success!

Appreciate all the good info provided here, but it seems the OEM parts to order and the disassembly / reassembly steps might be quite different... any pointers on where to start?

Never even heard of an f150 pro. You mean lightning?

Correct, by electric F-150 I meant the F-150 Lightning. The Pro is the base level trim that doesn’t come with the 360 cameras.

Just noticed I haven’t updated my parts list or any documentation with the correct front camera part number. The one listed is for a super duty and did not work after tons of troubleshooting with Jesse we found that you have to have this one:

FRONT CAMERA - ML3Z-19G490-C (REPLACES ML34-19G490-BB, ML3T-14G490-BC

I’ll update everything on my google drive soon

Not a problem at all! I did it because it took so much time and research, and money lol, that I figured I could share with others and make it easier for them. It also was to try and help take some load off of jesse because I know he was answering the same questions over and over. Lol
