How To Install Factory 360 Camera System

I have a question for you reference the IPMA, am I right in saying after you install the new IPMA you will then need to program it(load as built) and then do your individual Forscan changes to program the 360 camera option? TIA

It does look like all of your wiring is there. Hard to tell from that pic exactly but the non 360 cam trucks only have 3 wires. I can see you have the video wires pinned out and the camera power. Looks like all you need to do is buy the cargo cam, get forscan on a laptop and an adapter and turn it on. You got it easy!

Thanks. I now have it ready to install. I have installed forscan. Can you tell me what modules I need to go into to turn it on. I am worried I will mess something up

The modules and changes are in my documentation, watch a video on how to use forscan before attempting it and backup the module before you make changes

Sorry for the late reply. Monday worked 17 hours and have been busy every day since or sleeping lol. You will be making changes in forscan in both the IPMA and the APIM. IPMA is the image processing module that controls the cameras and safety features, the apim is the radio control module basically. You have to tell the IPMA you have a cargo camera and enable the apim to display it.

If the IPMA is brand new, it has to be PMI’d. It has to be updated using FDRS. Yes that’s correct all of the correct as-builts will need to be loaded as well. I suggest buying your IPMA from @Jesse-Infotainment and he will make sure you are taken care of. You will simply have to install it and go.

Any other options here when purchasing a IPMI? I see plenty on ebay, but I assume they're not plug and play. Jesse doesn't seem to be replying back to me after I requested to purchase one from him.

When did you message him? Only other option is to buy one on eBay and buy a mongoose cable and FDRS license and do it yourself, or try and get the dealer to do it.

I could not have done this without the help of @Jesse-Infotainment so major props to him. I am providing a link to my google drive that will have my write up and Jesse's parts list with some additions and updates I made. The drive also has all schematics needed as well as workshop manuals needed for the installation. If you do not already have a 12 inch display, you must upgrade the APIM. @Zhenes has been through this and can possibly help you, or you can reach out to Jesse.

If you are looking for the front cam, it is cheapest to buy the emblem and camera together on ebay, if you need to buy the camera seperate you can order your camera Here, I bought one from this seller and it was legit. If the link breaks search part number #ML34-19G490-BB and the seller is JOSRA-1020.
Try looking for the cargo cam on ebay, mutiple sellers on there with good deals, if you buy a new IPMA from ford it will have to be PMI. Mirrors can be found all over facebook, ebay, and this group. Whatever you order from ford parts, keep all of the packaging until you are done and have working 360 cams so you can return anything if needed.

I do not. At the time when I was pulling schematics I think I got confused on which one was which. If you get ahold of it send it over and I’ll add it.
