Yeah I’ll definitely make sure I don’t risk damaging anything further. Still waiting on a call back to work out all the fine details. You’re right about the Freon I didn’t even think about that!I guess it depends on state, my 13 Lincoln slid into a curb and disconnected Lower ball joint and disconnected cv axle. Insurance wrote me a check for about 4k, did the work for 450 bucks and insurance didn’t go up a dime.
I’d go under the truck and double check you have no coolant leaks. If not, than drive it where you’ll get it fixed. Towing will be covered under insurance to your nearest dealership usually. May be different for yours! One of the most expensive parts will be the Freon for the ac system. The r-1234yf is very expensive.
