How much does 3" inch lift with 35's affect PowerBoost's performance and MPG?

The rpm’s seem about right depending which gear your in. I don’t know that stuff about the powerboost, all I know is at about 48-50mph I’m in 9th at about ~1200rpm. At 70-75 I’m usually at ~1500rpm. But the 5.0 does have cylinder deactivation, which is amazing for long drives.

Mine at 70. The rpm’s are at 1900 which seems high. I’m still trying to figure the truck out. Right now I know the tires rub on the upper arm which is a concern I’ve addressed to the dealer

What 3in suspension is on the truck? Is it a rough country kit? That’s the only 3in I know off for 4wd trucks.

The rpm’s seem really high, but I don’t daily drive a powerboost to know the truck that well.

I’m not sure. Where do I find out?

I have a 21 Powerboost with 6 inch BDS lift and 35s with Fuel wheels. My speedometer is off about 3 MPH when set to 75 MPH, so I’m doing 78 MPH at that speed and RPMs are at 1900, if I back down and set cruise control at 73 MPH the RPMs are at 1800. Watch your turbo gauge at those speeds, it’s constantly engaging trying to push those big tires forward. I’ll reset the Trip 2 indicator in My View and watch the trip info when I get on the highway, when that turbo is engaging the MPG start dropping. My MPG sucks at those highway speeds with average 14.5 MPG. My combined average highway|city is down to 15.5 to 16 MPG. I too didn’t think it wouldn’t drop that much. Looking to unload mine now and trade in for stock truck.

Yeah I’m looking to removing the lift and selling the tires. They are brand new. Only have less than 1000 miles on them. Things is previous owner probably kept factory struts and shocks so I’m gonna have to find what the factory struts and shocks sizes are. Maybe get a decent after market set and go back to factory tires. I commute everyday 40 min to and from work. Can’t be putting gas Avery few days when it suppose to give me decent gas mileage according to other power boost owners

Drop down to a bilstien 5100 or 6112 in the front and then a 5100 or 5160 in the rear then drop tire size. Either a 275/70R18 or a 295/70R18. Like I said previously and stated by the above owner you are either in eco or boost. You are pushing heavy tires using boost. Making your mileage terrible.

I just want to say thank you for all the advice and helping me out. This is my first Ford truck and I have always wanted a powerboost due to living in south Texas and going weeks without power. They were just a little out of my budget til this used one fell into my lap. I am also new to lifted trucks with big tires so you can see why I am asking questions most of you know the answers to. So Godspeed to all of you who are taking the time to address my thread. God bless you all

I see one is a strut and the other is a shock. Wouldn’t I need a strut for the front

So like this set would would work good? Also if I added this could I still add some type of A/T tire since I do have the FX 4 package

Doesn’t say ready lift anywhere in the arm. Also I want to remove it or the tires because they run on the upper arm
