I placed my order for an F150 Lariat Powerboost about 10 days ago, it is still under "Order Confirmed" and has not been scheduled for building yet. Do I still have time to make changes to my order? I got a new job and can afford some new features and wanted to add the 4x4 option. Should there still be time? Will making the change put my car at the back of the queue again if I do?

I ordered mine on 1/12 and have so far been able to add two things to my order. The most recent addition was just on 2/5. Just contact your dealer and tell them what you want to do. I posted the same question earlier. https://www.f150gen14.com/forum/threads/adding-interior-work-surface-after-production.8472/

Typically you can make changes until a VIN is assigned.
Except if the change does not affect the VIN. I changed/upgraded my PPO to 7.2kw which did not affect the VIN, so the change "went through" without any drama. At least as far as I know, since I'm still two weeks out from "build week" and am at the mercy of the system. But I have a VIN and Build date so I'm remaining optimistic.

In OP's case, since you only ordered 10 days ago, even "starting from the back of the line" would not be a big deal since you're talking months out for delivery.

This is the correct answer.

Making changes does not move you to the back of the line just because you made a change. Scheduling is based on dealer allocation, supply chain availability for parts based on trim, options, etc., and possibly some type of Ford voodoo.
