I will be adding a couple subs under the rear seat. My plan is to splice into the rear door speaker and use the amps high level inputs on the amp for signal, can I splice both high level inputs into one speaker? Or do I have to splice one input from the high level amp input to the right rear speaker and the other to the left rear speaker? The amp is a mono class d amp.

Yea, its pretty simple, makes going into good RCAs alot easier. My STX is base audio, or was. Upgraded all speakers, a 7 channel amp, and dual 10's under rear seat.

Did you use something like this or converter or did you use the plug in behind radio

You can use just one and split it. As mentioned you would not have left right control ability, but on most apps, it doesn’t matter anyway because their instructions usually tell you that they are mixed internally (left and right for sub) On my ranger raptor, the rear speakers and sub are powered off the amp so I did use a kicker key lock for the sub amp to both knock the power down and lock the frequencies across the EQ because Ford rolled it off. The F150 is a different story. I just did my F150, but I was amping the rear speakers. So I cut the wires to the speaker went to the amp and then back to the speakers. It worked exceptionally well. I did not use a key lock or any line out converter at all. The reason is because I had high-level input on the amp. So bottom line the F150 rear door speakers do not run off the factory amp. They run off the head and are less than 7amps total at high output. If you have a high speaker input port on the amp, ( for example Rockford)you can inputs wires there ( or in the case of jl audio select the switch for high input) and you can run the wires to that… it will knock the power down re-amplify internally and send it to your subs. Many modern amp have a high level/speaker level input selection
You mentioned its a mono amp…so you plan to run 2 amps off the one mono amp? Is it powerful enough to drive both amps
This speaker info for f150 is based on the Unleashed system

Thank you for this information. I plan to tap into the tear speakers as an input source for the amps high level inputs so I do not have to run RCA’s. I am only running one amp for two 10” subs. My concern was could I use one speaker for both inputs at the amp and also had a concern of the rear speakers were full range so I would not miss any of the frequencies when the signal goes to the amp. But I think after reading your reply I am good to go to one rear speakers for the signal my amp needs
