Anyone running lights behind the grille?

I don't believe it's possible to put lights behind the grille due to the active grille shutters behind the grille. There's very limited room in-between the grille and the shutters.

There are some posts of people fixing lights to their grille with a bracket on the inside, but it wouldn't be considered "behind the grille"

You are correct the shutters give quite a problem. In the Baja designs kit for the third gen raptor, the instructions include removing the lower 3 shutters. To me it appears the same can be done on the normal f150 to free up some space without throwing codes. I will be testing this in the future, but probably with a DD stage series 30” light bar!

I have the same “light bar” but I can make out the individual led lights. How did you get your light to be evenly lit?

I know you really can't trust these "New vs Old" and "Ours vs Theirs" on amazon products, but it looks like they may have simply added a diffuser to soften and even out the lighting so it's not just a row of exposed lights.
