Is there anyone with DRL issues that has never used Forscan?

So is this only on XLT’s?
My lowly XL does not have these.

I've seen several stock XLT's in my area with burnt out leds only on the vertical led side. Only with led reflectors not led projectors head light assemblies. I would assume those owners did not use forscan because the trucks looked stock.

I just replaced passenger side, no Forscan on my lights. 1600.00 plus installation
2021 Lariat 5.0..........I have driven Ford since 1968, this one takes the cake

I have turned off the DRLs to keep mine from failing even though I like the effect and safety of the DRLs.

How absurd is it to wonder if Ford will somehow open a customer satisfaction campaign to repair the problem that everyone knows is a manufacturing defect on probably thousands of trucks nationwide?

I think their lack of addressing issues like this make customers turn to other manufacturers for replacement vehicles.
sucks that you cant use a feature on a vehicle you bought in fear of it failing

I've noticied it's 2021s failing more (including mine)... im assuming because we have a years worth of more runtime on lights..
I have, i think, about 20K hours of runtime then a portion of my drivers side vertical led dimmed or burnt out.
I say 20K because i never reset the Trip#2 mileage counter and it has runtime on it and basically has all of my miles and runtime and what i've averaged for the life of the truck.

broke down and bout a pair of aftermarket ones off ebay but thats one of the main reasons i opeted for lariat package with these headlights was for the cool DRLs. Now, not even 36 months later, I had to change them

I saw a lariat low a few weeks ago with half of one DRL left. The other three sections across both lights were out.

If its indeed a heat issue, my truck is parked in direct sun and the DRLs would be hot. I do have ppf on the lights, but this is some bulllllshit.

Ford needs to do a proper recall if they havent already. I got a recall notice that is tied to lights, but it seems to be discussing a module affecting flickering.

I'm wondering if the people with failing DRL's are the same one's that had the recall flicker fix coding performed.
ive had some recalls, wipers and some wiring hardness but that was it and one of my DRLs is still burnt out
