Heated Steering Wheel Retrofit - updated with information

How do you plan to wire it up? Is it plug & play or are you tapping into other wires?

I’ve got a buddy that’s gonna help me build the wiring “harness” for it. One pin goes to ground and the other pin goes to BCM. Just two wires. But I’m electrically illiterate

Seems worth a mention that I repeated @dhageremtp's experiment and ordered the ML3Z-19980-K from Tasca for $103.73 (plus shipping & tax, $127 all-in). I ordered on 12/6 and did get a "required special ordering" notice from them on the 10th, but it showed up on the 17th in apparently-perfect condition, with the digital readouts.
Now if only my truck would show up, too...

Did the same thing. Hope mine has the digital readouts. Truck shipped on Friday.

Set a fan in front of you and start playing with the HVAC module, it’ll be like you have a stationary F150 with the blower up high

Sorry to get slightly off topic, but is this the connector for FDRS and FORScan?

this one will work. There is a much cheaper option that has worked very well for me. One of the guys on here said it was removed from the list of compatible devices but in my personal experience it works just fine. It’s the vxdiag for ford. It’s about $100 on Amazon.

Dammit, I got a faulty SCCM. Left side steering wheel controls do not work. Guess I’m just gonna buy a new one. I hate this crap shoot with used electrical parts

My left side steering wheels didn't work when I installed the clockspring. I just had to flash it with my as built data and everything worked right after that.

Yea superfordman pointed that out… I feel like an idiot for a mistake like that. But I was certainly glad to not have a faulty SCCM

Boostedgreygoose sells a ready made harness for this already. It’s not cheap but also includes the clock spring. I’m wondering if they might sell the harness separately from the clock spring. That said if you build one maybe you might build a few more. I’d gladly buy one. I’ve got the wheel just going to need harness and clock spring.

YMMV. I email them a few times without response. I sent him a private message over on the other ford f150 forum without response asking the same question. I then ordered the wires to make my own.

So I would need the entire assembly, not just the airbag contact assembly like you have listed here?

Every Lariat I have seen online with the heated wheel has the power memory steering column and it looks like this part number is no exception according to the pictures on fordparts.com. Can you just take the turn signal stalk off the existing clockspring? This is for my dad's 2023 lariat with manual adjustment column and no rain sensing wipers. The one I got for my 302A came from boosted grey goose, but it doesn't look like it has the whole assembly part number on it.
