Has anyone ever seen this (speed limit flashing constantly).

While I was driving on a freeway the other day the speed limit icon below the actual digital speed started flashing. It did so for over 2 hours. It persisted after turning off/on once and then went away after a second restart. My speed was the same as the speed limit, so it wasn't a warning flash.

Normally, the speed limit icon is displayed intermittently - sometimes it is displayed, sometimes not, but the flashing thing was weird.

It flashes any time you're over what the truck thinks is the speed limit.

We've had tons of road construction lately and I've found that it uses a combo of past data, as well as existing speed signs.

In other words, sometimes in a construction zone that is finished (even for a fairly long time), the truck may revert to the old construction zone speed limit, until it sees a new sign.

Though 2 hrs. is quite a while. Never had anything like that.

But I wasn't exceeding the speed limit and the flashing speed limit was the same as my actual speed.

If it happens again, just dip into your wallet and post a picture of your wife/kids/dog right over it. That would solve that problem. No way I could take that flashing while droning down the highway.

Yes, but only for the 2-3 hour stretch.
