I live in Alaska and have no issues in 4A long as you’re use to driving in winter/snow conditions. I had the Goodyear Wrangler Territory AT (18in OEM) on my old truck - those suck donkey nuts!!!these tires came with our truck. are these tires any good in snow? i'm sure it won't beat a set of true snow tires. please chime in on your experience with these tires when driving in snow. thanks.
IMO I would use the Hanooks for as long as they last. Actually, I will be using up two sets of OEM Hanooks before buying different for my 23 F150 as I bought a new set of OEM takeoffs (wheels, tires, TPMS sensors) for $1,000. Hard to beat that deal (pretty much going price around here). I took the Hanooks off and bought Michelin X Ice tires and now have a nice set of OEM grays wheels for winter and another set of the OEM Hanook tires to put on my BAP black wheel when first set of Hanooks wear out. Yeah, some on this forum get all bent up about the Hanooks but I have found them to be decent tires for my needs. Hey, if you have money to burn buy something elsethese tires came with our truck. are these tires any good in snow? i'm sure it won't beat a set of true snow tires. please chime in on your experience with these tires when driving in snow. thanks.
Good to know. I can't justify buying new tires for a new vehicle. When the Hanks wear out, I will replace them with what I want.Contrary to what others have said, I had good results with the OEM Hankooks in the winter.
My former ‘21 came with them and I was pleased with the way the tires performed in the snow. I made it through 2 Michigan winters without issue.
YMMV.
