Not really an argument, no MFG is going to do that with vehicles that dealers install options on. You make it sound like you're actively looking for a vehicle right now so desired future actions don't put you any closer to finding what you're looking for.
Again you want to argue. Other than a bedliner, most dealers do not install options. Maybe you are referring to paint and fabric protection. I was looking for a truck up until last month when I bought my XLT. I passed on a super nice used Limited and used Platinum that both had less than 10,000 miles on them. The CCC on both was sub-1500# with the 7400# payload package and 1500# was my bare minimum. I still had to drive to the dealership to check the CCC. Had that information been on the window sticker that the dealer had on their website, I would have saved myself the trip and saved the salespersons time.

Not to belabor the point, but isn't CCC the same thing as payload? When I think of CCC I think of the sticker on my trailer, and when I think of payload I think of the sticker on the door jamb. Unless I missed something.

I think the issue with including payload on the window is sticker is that sticker is generated before the truck is built (might not be printed yet but generated), whereas the payload sticker is generated on the line after it passes over the scales with the as built options installed. Of course if you get any dealer installed options after the fact, payload can change, but not a lot consider that imo.

I agree it would be nice to click on a window sticker online and see the payload, but if I am really interested, I just call them and have them text me over a photo of the sticker in the door jamb.

Aside from that, the original reason I wanted to post in the this thread was to point out that the picture in the OP appears to show a f150 pulling a trailer with a slightly improperly adjusted hitch, as the front appears to be nose high. LOL :ROFLMAO:

Before anyone wastes their money, can you, @Ford Motor Company, tell us what the purpose is for the "Max Tow Axle"?

I'm sure some people will want to jump on this and answer this too but hear me out. The currently published 2024 Ford RV & Trailer Towing Guide doesn't mention the "Max Tow Axle"...not once. The guide does mention the Tow/Haul Package (53T) and references this as the only option required to get the maximum towing numbers.
Initially, I thought that you needed this axle combined with the Tow/Haul Package in order to achieve the maximum numbers published but if that was the case, why doesn't the guide say so? Furthermore, the PowerBoost cannot be had with the "Max Tow Axle" but the guide still lists different towing capacity weights when you have the Tow/Haul Package (53T) or not.
By listing different numbers for the PowerBoost based on whether or not it has the Tow/Haul Package even when it is not capable of having the "Max Tow Axle", leads me to believe that you do not need this axle to achieve the maximum towing numbers listed in the guide with any other engine as long as you have the Tow/Haul Package (53T) by itself. If this is the case, what is the purpose for the axle? Or why doesn't Ford mention this in their RV and Trailer Towing Guide?

Again, @Ford Motor Company, what is the purpose of the $395 "3:55/3:73 Electronic Locking Axle Ratio with Tow Haul" when I can get the Tow/Haul Package and still have the same "3:55/3:73 Electronic Locking Axle Ratio" that comes standard on the truck? Without an answer, I don't see the point in paying $395 for an axle that has an open recall on a bolt. And without an answer telling the difference between the two axles when your own towing guide doesn't mention it, why waste 4 hours and spend $495 on a towing class?

EDIT: The towing class is cancelled now. Hmmm

Tri axle TT minivan towing?

Pretty nice driving. A little faster than I’d prolly be comfortable with while towing my own rig but impressive as hell especially if ya might be trying to get to a hospital before your first born child is trying to get “born NOW”. Sort of what my son had to deal with in his mini van years ago.😄 My grand son didn’t wait to get to the hospital at all. The shoulder of the road worked out just fine for everyone on board. Glad they didn’t have a trailer along though.👏

I wonder if it gives you a discount on insurance, like the Coast Guard classes do for boat owners?
