Unless you are getting a Power Boost of course. E-Locker comes standard on them.
^^^ this. FX4 seems very pricey when you already have the e-locker as part of EB option and big$.

If you plan any sort of off road activity I think there are much better aftermarket shocks, tires, skid plates...and floor mats.

As for stickers, I take them off all of my trucks regardless of what they spell. I suppose there is some resale payback but that can be said for almost any option.

I have the E-locking rear...I think it was part of Max Tow maybe?

This ^^^. But it's not specifically an FX4 issue. If you're doing much serious offroading, you want more sidewall, not less. So 18 instead of 20.
And very few trucks or SUVs come with good AT tires from the factory. First thing I did with mine was switch to Falkens. But it's not just a Ford issue. My prior 4Runners came with crummy tires from the factory as well.
Certainly true in general but today's 20" wheels come with taller tires than the 18"s so it's really barely even 1/2" sidewall difference with factory tires.

I got the FX4.
The stickers gotta be good for 5-10 hp and I’ll replace the other stuff if I actually tear it up.
As long as y’all are happy with your truck then that’s the one to have!

As a package it is one of the better values with the electronic locking rear differential, hill descent control, upgraded shocks, rock crawl mode, and "off road" tires. The locking differential upgrade is at least $470 of the $1095 4x4 package, the shocks would cost $500 to change out later, and replacing the factory road tires would cost at least $1,000. So doing it later would cost twice as much and not have the off-road features.
