Locking rear diff.
Rock crawl
Suspension
Hill decent
LT tires
Skid plates

Not getting the crap Perelli's is worth the $500 and then some.
And I doubt you can get the electric locker installed aftermarket for $500.
The rest is fine. If you plan on upgrading, can do it little at a time.
My Fx4 did not come with LT tires. It came with AT (all-terrain tires).

Can only get LT with FX4. Still have to check the box
hmmmm what tire is that?

Seems like its not available on the 20" rim?

Just checked and indeed their is an option for LT but only in 17 and 18 inch rims.

Thats def the reason i didnt see it as I always build with 20s and FX4

Others have commented they received General Grabber. I will let you know when I have the truck.

Definitly worth the $285

Came with AT Perelli's. Never understood why off road truck had such nonsense. Mine was dealer ordered, when looking for a regular cab short bed you can't be real choosy.

My 2021 XLT FX4 came with Hankooks, street tires, which I traded in for BFG AT's. The skid plates have already come in handy on mine during duck season and some ruts, the locker...aftermarket they run from $500 to over a $1000 just for the parts from what I just looked at online. Not installed. The suspension is "tuned" differently apparently, the drive modes, the locker, and the rubber floor mats are worth the $1000 option that it added on my truck.

I guess not everyone knew/knows of the LT tire option.

I did not want to get stuck with Perellis and only replace when needed, so the LT option was key. Bargain at under $300.

I can live with Generals until they need replaced.

So everyone is aware. From the Ford build site....look at bottom under optional.

LT tires and 3.73 locker only available with FX4. Worth it.

Yes but only in the 17 and 18 inch rim options.

If you want 20's looks like no go

I didn't order mine. I worked with my dealer and he found me one that was being delivered to another dealer they work with and snatched it! I thought it was weird that it had the Hankooks on them being an FX4. It did come with the upgrade 20" wheels on them so that may be why the LT tires weren't on them. I had to do something quick because duck season was coming up and I would have destroyed those tires on these Arkansas gravel roads!! The dealer worked an even trade and added the BFG AT KO2's. Some don't like them but I have run them on my Jeep for years and years with a lot of success. The stock tires that aren't LT are lighter and have way less resistance than a LT tire to help with that MPG number they can put on the sticker! But if you use the truck....well as a truck, a LT tire is definitely needed. You just got to choose what type tread you want for what you will use it for, road and towing, off road or mix of the two.

My 2 go to tires are Cooper Discovery AT3 4s and Falken Wildpeak A/T3W. Both come in LT sizes.

I like both better than the KO2's. Just my opinion.

The Cooper is a tad bit better in snow. The Falken a bit better off road.

Generals aint bad. If i get the General Grabbers like reported by those selecting the LT option, i should be good until they need replaced.

I absolutely hate having to replace new tires.

Good to hear the dealer set you up.
