Full view not available

Was doing some towing for the first time today and when using the tailgate camera to monitor the trailer, I couldn’t get this message to disappear on the screen. What am I doing wrong?

I tried this on my XL 2022 and it didn't do anything. Anyone know if there is a different address for the small 8" screen?

Did you try resetting the APIM module? Had to do that on mine with the 12" to get the box to go away even after coding.

Yes I did that several times. Also tried to disable FM radio and that didn't take either. I was able to command parking brake on and off so I can communicate bidirectional

Hmm, there must be differences in the modules for the 8 and 12" system then. I'm sure someone has figured it out by now though. Well short of swapping over to the 12" display and modules that is.

Yes I agree. I think the address is different for the 8" screen. Im not too interested in swapping to the bigger screen don't see much practical need.

I did this on my 2022 XL (STX) with 8 inch screen and it worked. Don't know if it matters but I first did the camera at speed change.

Tried that no dice. Still have the stupid black bar across the rear camera view. "Full View not Available". WTF even waste money to install a f@#$ switch if they are going to disable the full view?

Your Sync version or IPMA is probably too old, if you message me or @rugedraw with your VIN then we can look that up. You probably need some updates

Why would you want to disable your FM radio?? First time I heard any one try to do that.
