There should be a setting on the sync screen menus under "Vehicle" and then "Cruise Control" I think where you can turn off adaptive cruise control and just use normal instead.

I have read where you ask for vins many times but I haven't read that you actually helped. What's up?

I looked and didn't see where there were any settings to turn off adapted cruise.

I was wrong. It is under Driver Assist and then Cruise Control.
