Fuel Door

Has anyone looked at replacing the PB fuel door with the normal one? If it's just fooling the sensor into thinking the door is closed and adding the fuel door from a normal f150, it seems like it would be doable.

I'm tried of randomly ripping the plastic cover off and unscrewing the retainer stud.

So does mine, about 95% of the time.

Ahh. That 5% was 100% failure each time it happened.

Just don't forget to put it in park first before pushing the button.

Zero issues with the door. My understanding is that the PB needs this door but I don't know the details of why.
