Front camera fault service required?

I got a couple warning today as I was showing off the truck to some friends. I dont have a front camera (that I'm aware of). The fault stopped after I turned off the truck and hasnt come back.

Has anyone else experienced these faults?

I got something similar. one evening, round dusk on a very humid night, i got a warning that the front cam was blocked and that the precollision wouldn't work. i got out and wiped off the cam on the grill (there wasn't anything on it..bugs, etc). ... got back in and cleared with the ok button. not sure that actually solved the issue (which brings up a point... when yiou clear errors with the ok button... where can you go/what idiot lights can you see... that actually tell you if the problem still exists?
anyway... reading these threads... would it have been the cam in the grill that was the problem... or the one up by the rearview mentioned here?

I dont have a camera in my grill mine is in my windshield. At first it started off sporadically then I realized it only happened when the truck sat in the sun. They replaced a control board Ford had the dealer run a bunch of test now the error never turns off so I don't have adaptive cruise, regular cruise, lane departure or pre collision safety features.

I started a buyback because Ford has no idea when a new front camera will be available to try and see if that fixes it.

Mine is in the shop right and apparently Ford (i have case open too) is using mine as a guinea pig because they don't know what is causing it.

They replaced the control module but that didn't fix it. Ford is having them run a bunch of test and a whole slew of different errors keep popping up.

One thing I told the dealership which has helped them is if the truck sits in the sun the error will come on 100% of the time so they can easily replicate it when Ford wants them to run another test.

Sounds like the next step is replacing the camera but that still doesn't answer all the other errors they are seeing when running the test.

I will keep you posted if they fix it.

Have they replaced your front camera yet? Mine has been on backorder for about 3 months now. I did have a lawyer start the buyback process because of this issue, which sucks cause I got a great deal on this truck and will end up losing big if I have to buy another one due to lack of incentives.

I'd also be interested if anyone finds solutions here.... I have this fault (among others including headlights, AC blowing hot air as if the heat is on max, lane keeping assist, rear brake assist failure, infotainment screen failing/going all blue....)

Got the call yesterday that my camera finally showed up. I will going in next Wednesday to have it replaced and will let you know if that fixed it.

Has anyone been able to resolve this? I came across this forum due to this issue. 2021 F150 and I get the "pre-collision assist not available" error after my truck has been sitting in the sun. It usually goes off a few times until the cabin cools down.

I checked the connections per the other recommended thread. None seemed loose.

I just got my truck back from the dealership (taking care of the under body insulator recall) and they could not check out the collision assist due to not being able to replicate the issue. I'm hoping I can get them to see the issue first hand before my warranty is up.

Not sure if it is the same situation but today, for the very first time, my screen had a shot of the front camera--it only lasted a couple of seconds but I've never seen this before
