Adaptive steering fault service required

I bought a 2021 F150 king ranch 3.5 ecoboost last Friday - Love it so far

Wednesday evening as I was driving home, I got an alert that popped up that said " Adaptive steering fault service required"

I don't notice anything different and it hasn't came back on since then.

I looked on here and a lot of people said when this happens the steering wheel is not straight, but mine is.

I thought about taking it to the dealership but am thinking I'll just wait and if the message comes up again then I will.

What do y'all think?

I recently posted about the Adaptive Steering Fault message - my steering wheel was almost 90 degrees left when going straight.

I wouldn’t worry about the message if the steering wheel itself is fine. What I would do is make sure you have new under hood / auxiliary batteries since you just bought this truck.

Forgot to post that in my case, the dealer had to replace the steering wheel ($2200 - thank God I have the extended warranty)
