Nice - thanks for sharing the pic. Looks good. It does look a little higher than I anticipated, especially after looking at some of the other pics of the crew cabs in this thread. Wonder if the crew cabs sit lower due to weight or some other factor.
I don’t think the first pic gave the best depiction, so here are a couple more.

If you’re wanting the fender wells filled in then you will have to go with a 3/5 drop.

Yea those pics look much better. I don’t want to go too low, just want less of a gap.

Ditto ! The first pics had me thinking "what a waste of $$". Thanks @13wood31 for the MUCH BETTER pics. Looks like I might go the same route :like:

How does it ride ?
I’d say it rides about as close to stock as possible. The front springs are a little more stiff, but it’s barely noticeable. Only real difference is less body roll. I was actually impressed with how it rides. Putting 22s on it made more a difference in ride than the lowering kit.

I wear green uniforms and boots
First pic is stock. 2nd pic has the FP lowering kit with 22 inch rims on 305/45s.

I tow an enclosed trailer so I figured a little rake would be the smart move. It is a little more stiff in the front end, but it definitely helped with body roll when taking curves.

Quick question. Have you had any scraping on the 305s? I've seen a lot of traffic about choosing 285s instead of 305s to avoid needing to trim inside the wheel wells. Also, what's the style of wheel you mounted? Specifically, what's the offset?

They are Forgestar 22x10s with a 30mm offset.
I have not had any rubbing at all. I debated going with 305/40s instead of 305/45s because I was concerned about it rubbing at full turn, but it worked out just fine.

Just got back from the install. Ride is much better - no more floaty feel at the back and from is just a little firmer. No rubbing or anything. Big improvement.

Good thing hear. I’m leaning towards this drop kit.

@Espi5.0 and @13wood31 , kind of a dumb question but did either of you need a front end alignment after the install ?

I was wondering the same. From what I've been reading, it sounds like the Bilstein 4600 should work as an oem replacement, and maybe the 5100 would work since it has a stock height setting.
