I emailed Ford Performance yesterday, asking that same question- no response yet.

It states on their website that the kit can't be used with the high payload package, tremor, raptor, and limited trims, but does not explicitly say 20" or 22" wheels.

My assumption is that we'll have clearance with either wheel. Several folks keep to the 285/45 R22 and 275/60 R20 for that reason.
I hit the chat feature on the ford performance web page to ask a question about their M-3000-H4B kit and got immediate response. Thinking of going with the kit.

I just got weak and ordered the Ford Performance 22" gloss black wheels from Levittown Ford Parts. I'll throw them on in a few months, once the tires fully wear out on my 20"s. They'll likely get mounted before I put on the lowering kit.

I have a 2023 5.0 super crew 5.5ft bed. I threw on the ford shackles and upgraded to the 22" wheels from the expedition, which are the same thing as the ford performance wheels. Found a deal on marketplace, just had to refinish them. Also went up to a 305/45-22 tire. I purchased the full Ford Performance lowering kit since i got it for a deal but trying to figure out if i want to install it or not because im worried about the high spring rate.

I know ive seen people just use a 2wd struts on the 4wd springs and gotten the front an inch lower so im considering that.

If i do install it, id like to upgrade from the fx4 shocks to something better. I guess best option is the fox2.0? But is that going to ride better considering its going on a lowering spring? Or should i just keep the stock struts?

Not a ton of info on lowering f150s unless its a flip kit, unfortunately.

This is my current stance with the 22's on 305s and just the drop shackles.

Looks great. Is that drop shackles and rear block removed?

No, just shackles.
Ok - so another 1.25 inches left with just the block removal. I’d be happy with that stance with a slightly lower front. I’ll post some pics next Friday once mine is installed.

Theres no great way to measure the rake especially since i have a extended range tank and gravel driveway. But im about 1.5-2" of rake with the shackles. Lowering the back without lowering the front will raise the front a little so block removal should be pretty close to 100% level. But if you put any weight in the bed youre gunna be nose high.

Is there any ride quality advantage to doing the rear shackles vs removing the block? I’ve been considering a reverse level on my FX4 and keep going back and forth.

Since there's no actual instructions anywhere, can anyone tell me what this is for?

Why are people buying shackles vs just removing the rear block? Both are that 1-1.25" drop.

I am 2wd so there was no block to remove.

First pic is stock. 2nd pic has the FP lowering kit with 22 inch rims on 305/45s.

I tow an enclosed trailer so I figured a little rake would be the smart move. It is a little more stiff in the front end, but it definitely helped with body roll when taking curves.

Did you happen to measure the before and after drop on front and rear?

Unfortunately I didn’t. Thought about it right after I left the shop too lol. It is definitely noticeable in the rear since it took out the blocks as well.

Nice - thanks for sharing the pic. Looks good. It does look a little higher than I anticipated, especially after looking at some of the other pics of the crew cabs in this thread. Wonder if the crew cabs sit lower due to weight or some other factor.
