I lowered the coil perches by 20mm. This lowered the fender to tire gap by about 40mm or so. The difference is NIGHT AND DAY. I did not think it would be so dramatic.

Did a 800 mile road trip this weekend and it was a dream, exactly what I was looking for. The Load Range C tires are also amazing, the combo is a very very smooth and supply ride that firms up in the turns and braking.

That said, I will be lowering them another 5mm because I did still get one top out on the trip after hitting a big bump at 75mph. I think 5mm will be perfect.

In the end, I think I will end up about 1.5"-1.75", and that will be the maximum level possible without destroying the ride.

I think alot of people dont realize with IFS is you only have X amount of travel. So if we spend all this time trying to get 3" of added ride height, that's down travel we are losing. Causing the truck to fall into holes, and feel the shocks top out. ideally we keep it nearly in the middle so there is equal droop and bump travel. Usually, it takes someone to tinker around with their truck to learn this. it took me 3 trucks to learn this the hard way instead of reading it on a forum lmao. Plus, near the end of droop travel everything starts to bind up anyways. Stock bushings suckkkkkk

I still need to lower the perches another 5-7mm. I still am getting a front top out on big bumps over 70mph if I'm loaded up in the rear, in select situations.

I will get the alignment checked. I think I can recapture some caster now.

I just did the Fox 2.5’s but they adjust from the top so not much help there. I haven’t noticed much settling but the Powerboost is heavier in the front so it should help . Doesn’t look bad in your second set of pictures though
Did you have any issues with your CCD/BC when you went with the Fox 2.5? if so how did you correct them?

Thanks in advance for any assistance with this inquiry

Hey, I have a 22 powerboost platinum so extra heavy and did the bilstein ford performance set up and got about 1.5 so I was the opposite. One thing I did was add a leaf to the back of the truck to bump the back up an inch. Settled to about 0.5 inches but was an easy fix to delete any rake.

I have a leer cap and decked so likely double the weight of your set up but I think the weight in the back is adding to the sag and stress on the front.

I don’t have CCD and the adaptive/bluecruise works totally fine . I only got about 1.5 or so lift

Just installed mine on 24 powerboost. fronts making some clicking noise sometimes low speed. did you have those? also what preload is yours set to? Mine feels too soft out of the box and has way too much body roll on turns. Thanks!

First suggestion is to double check all the fasteners you disturbed during the install, for proper torque.

The clicking noise is quite possibly the CV's. Did you allow them to droop excessively during the install?

Everything is torqued to spec. And no I had a jack supporting it so it didn’t droop too far. Cv’s looked fine. So right now I noticed the noise came when I replaced the rears with bilsteins. And the fronts are still fox’s. Could that be why?

Did you get the right 2.0’s because I see fox offers two different setups, one is specifically for the powerboost with heavier springs.

Do you happen to have part numbers? Thanks

So, you are hearing it from the rear now?

You probably need a local friend to help you isolate where the noise is coming from. I can’t speculate when you don’t have a better idea where your issue is.

Just playing devil’s advocate though…….double check your UCA’s and your coils to make sure there is plenty of clearance.

Just verified the noise is only from the front passenger side.
