That video does make it seem like I could do it. Maybe I need to just go ahead and buy the cable so I'd be like well I spent the money on this cable I need to go ahead and do it. Lol

I want to do the global windows. How many codes had to be changed? I saw on a spreadsheet that there were multiple codes. Does each have to be changed or just one of them?

All changes needed if you want all front windows for all driver profiles both up and down and the ability to turn on off with SYNC. Otherwise you lose SYNC. Or an up or down on a window by window and profile by profile basis.

Can you get a pic, would like to see how that looks?

I turned mine up to Full brightness... and got LOTS of complaints from friends and family if I was behind them. I also got "flashed" quite a bit by oncoming vehicles. I think that 100% is waaay to high. I dropped it to 75% and it looks good. (IMHO)

So I was going through all the configs in forescan and in CCM vehicle type, my truck is configured as #49- f-series P558 MCA SWB DRW. But my truck isn’t DRW, it’s 100% SRW. I’ve never messed with this value before and the truck has been mine since new. Any ideas why it came as a DRW not srw? You think I should change it?

If you're experiencing any odd behaviour, first contact your tuner to see if they made the modification. If they didn't, you can try setting it back to the correct one of the P702 options.

If all is working fine, make a note of it for future reference and leave the setting alone.

I changed it and got “pre Collission not available” so I changed it back

Purchased a couple blank key fob on eBay with a remote start button. Used forscan to enable remote start. Had the keys cut at a local locksmith and used my already programmed keys to program the new keys. I now have two remotes with working remote start. Total cost was about $122. $90 to cut both keys at the locksmith who told me the remote start was not going to work.
