Seeing this disclaimer on the Forscan site:

"2025+MY Ford and Lincoln models are supported with a 'best-effort' commitment. It means that work of FORScan on 2025+MY is not guaranteed and not promised."

Anyone successfully using the FORscan on 2025+ MY to set Bambi lights and silence annoying dings etc?

Which OBD2 adapter are you connecting with?

Forscan works just fine on my 2025, I’ve changed quite a bit of stuff with it. I got a OBDlink MX+ adapter.

I've done some coding updates on a few 2025's now and have not run into any issues at all. The OBDlink MX+ adapter is the best out there for this. Just be sure to have the latest version of Forscan installed and let it scan for all modules when connecting at least the first time. This can take a minute or two but after that it works just fine if you save/load from that profile. Just be sure to backup the module as-built data each time before any changes made so you can revert it needed.

On my '25 KR (manufactured 8/13/25), I had a few mods that wouldn't write. I'd have to check again but one was the remote window roll up, also the seatbelt minder disable, and a couple of others IIRC. About 2/3 were successful but the others reported back 'Gain security access failed - security key is wrong' followed by 'Service procedure has been interrupted.'

I have tried with two different cables, one was the older with the manual HS/LS switch, the other was the new ODBLink MX+ I got that was said to be the one specifically for FORScan.

I'm still using an old school ELM327 with the switch. Made changes to a buddy's 25 Raptor last week. No issues at all.

I just picked up a new 2025 F150 STX, and this being my first with the OTA update ability thru the Ford app, and wifi, are ForScan mods written over by any Ford updates?

They can be. It depends on whether the OTA comes in before the vehicle has a chance to sync up with the cloud and update the ab data on Ford's side. If it reverts them, you can just go back in and change them back.

Ah, I didn't realize Ford pulled the current data to the cloud, but that makes sense. Thanks.
