Fordpass inoperable?

Version 6.3

I'm pretty far from a power user. Check tire pressures, trailer lights etc and TP, fuel and oil has seemed to be working fine but tried to start the truck with it and thats a fail, as is locking it.

All features on the remote work, so not a battery problem, right?

Have you tried shutting down the app and restarting it? If fob works I wouldn’t think battery.

No. I looked on the app store for the version number, to see if mine was out of date but it isn't listed there and mine looks like the pictures so ...

I may try uninstalling and reinstalling it but not a huge priority.

Mine is working just fine for both the Mach-E parked in a hangar at the airport (work) and the Powerboost at the house.

When I upgraded to 6.3 I had to uninstall it and reinstall it then log out abd back in before it decided to work... Some of the time... Ever since Ford's app team rolled out v5 the Ford pass has been a steaming pile of crap. Each update buggier than the last. Guess that's what happens when they let Chat GPT handle the coding...

Take a look at your navigation screen, the ford one, not carplay. See if it says "no gps". If it does, until you figure out how to make that go away and the navigation to work again, fordpass won't work.

Correction with apology ..... lock / unlock and trailer lights check work OK, TPMS and location are updating, but app engine start is not responsive (I've never even tried it before today).

App rev is 6.3.0, none newer available for my iPhone.

Just started my truck with it. It took about a min for it to start truck. First time I used app to start truck

android app v6.3.0, Slide to start vehicle works. Lock works.

6.3.0 starts my F150, and my ‘25 PHEV Escape, just fine. iPhone.

While the remote features work with the fob, start and lock, still not working on the app.. The app just freezes and then (I assume), times out.

We're going to have temps in the single digits this weekend and I've no plans to go anywhere so, seems like a good time to put it on the charger, just to see if the fob and the app, have different SOC thresholds.

I’m having the same problem 2025 f150 lariat. I get an error when it times out.
