does forscan need windows or will it run on a Mac ?

Sounds good, I just downloaded Forscan, Where can I find the spreadsheet for the 2022 F150?
Jessie, how long will it take and when are you available toady. I have downloaded Forscan and I have connected it to my truck and backed up all the modules so, I guess I am ready when it works for you. I will be available by 1:00 your time if that works for you. Do I need to download and install TeamView also?

Yes teamviewer needs to be installed as well adn I can do it when you are ready it will only take a few mins.

You have the issue.

Forscan is windows only. Some get it to work on macs I guess but I dont know

I dont have a cable or forescan but i have older win 10 laptop that i can dust off to get this fixed.

I will let you know when i get all the pieces together

Hey Jessie, I am having the same problem that I had before I deactivated and the with your help reactivated it. Occasionally the remote function on Fordpass works and then within a few minutes it does not work. It seems that once I drive it, it will work once, then it quits. I put a charger on it all last night to see if it was a deep sleep problem. No change. It worked once today and then it no longer worked. I tried it on my phone as well as my wife's phone same result. Do you have any thoughts on this?

Thanks for your past help and any help that you can give on this.

Quick update for anyone experiencing the issue. My truck has been with the dealership for a week now. There’s no way to tell for sure but I’d guess they only started looking at it yesterday. Today the update was “There are several communication issues with the sync module and telematics unit. He is digging into it. I will let you know right away once I have any infomation.” I don’t have a lot of faith in them figuring this out anytime soon.

I just got my truck back today. They said that they updated it and that it should solve the problem. I used my Fordpass and it worked for about 30 minutes or so. Before I went to get it (35 minute drive) I tried it again and it did not work. I called and told them they said that they don't know anything else to do. That I need to call Fordpass and see what they say. One of the things that I have figured out, once I drive it and the battery is hot it works but after setting for a while and the battery drops to about 12.4 volts, it no longer works. This tells me that Forpass is looking for the battery to have a higher charge before it will work. I told the dealership this, they said that there is nothing that they can do about it, the battery test good. I asked them if I bought a new battery and put it in the truck and it fixed it would they pay for it. The answer was no. So we see what someone gets for 76,000 dollars. Huh.

Dealer actually got back to me later on in the day to let me know it’s fixed. They said it took 9.5hrs of updates to fix. I’ll go pick it up in the morning but activation on the app looks promising now since I got past the failure and it’s wanting me to acknowledge a prompt on sync.
