Did you have to also buy the replacement mounting bolt for the steering wheel or did it come with it?I added a 2024 Raptor wheel to my 2021 XLT. I found the wheel from a seller on Facebook. I bought the paddle and heater harnesses from CSS Automotive Lighting LLC.
The worst part was having to swap out the clock spring. Ford used to sell them for $60 and now they are over $200. The new clock spring comes with the rain sensing wipers control. I swapped in my old stalk instead. It also comes with the power tilt and telescope button. I removed that.
The paddle harness is plug and play and comes in column shift or console shift variants. The heater harness requires Forscan programming. My HVAC controls did not have a heated wheel button, so I had to program one to the Home Screen on my radio.
The Raptor wheel has buttons for things my truck doesn’t have. I also didn’t want the Raptor trim since I don’t have one, so I swapped my XLT trim and buttons into the new wheel.

Do you have a part number for the clock spring assembly? I just got my steering wheel and thinking it might be worth waiting till I get the components for the heated function.I added a 2024 Raptor wheel to my 2021 XLT. The Raptor wheel I ordered (M-3600-F15B) came with a replacement bolt.Did you have to also buy the replacement mounting bolt for the steering wheel or did it come with it?
Sorry I’m unfamiliar with those abbreviations? As a heads up, the SCCM changed for the 24+ trucks. I used SL3Z-3F791-BA and you will need to use FDRS to add it to the TRON network.

thanks for the info! Got it all installed this afternoon just waiting for the harness for the paddles!SCCM = Steering Column Control Module
FDRS = Ford Diagnostic and Repair Software - $50 for 2 day subscription + correct adapter
TRON = Trusted Real-Time Operating Network - can only be accessed by FDRS.
FORScan can't be used to configure this module and the GSM (Gear Shift Module). Ford is using this on more and more modules for security.
Did you get the SCCM configured and working with the Raptor steering wheel? Sounds like you did and you're just waiting on the harness for the paddle shifter. Were you able to get the SCCM configured on the TRON network using FDRS?thanks for the info! Got it all installed this afternoon just waiting for the harness for the paddles!
