For AGM, a resting voltage of 12.46 is fairly healthy. Certainly the SOC is higher than 65%, but Ford's SOC is a proprietary value.

For a regular flooded 12V battery, 12.46V would be in the 60's for SOC though.

I wouldn't be too concerned with having issues with the truck if the actual voltage of the AGM was 12.46V
Only reason I even noticed it was truck went into deep sleep mode a week ago. First pic is when I got home. Second pic shows 4 hours sitting. Will get another when I leave for work in the morning.

So, 24 hours later and was connected to the NOCO10 all that time; I'm guessing the charger didn't see a need to do much because of the battery testing at 100%SOC. Anyway, the BMS is reporting a 31% drop during that time. Interestingly, voltage is the worst it's ever been and the 11 amp draw is just from ignition on. The charger is connected to frame ground so the BMS should see any input. I'll keep monitoring this way for a few days as I don't have to drive it anywhere, but I'm wondering if the BCM update which was done for me has altered my values back to stock. I'll check through all this and then leave the truck alone for another 24 hours but on the charger. Time is wrong on the screen because I haven't changed anything since connecting the battery back up And I'll put all my settings back as I want them.

Maybe the BMS needs to see a reasonable drive cycle as part of its "knowing what's going on" 🤔

Something definitely is eschew if Ford's software management puts the truck in protection mode when the 12V battery is resting at 12.46V

I'd love to see the Bluetooth log-graph for the moment the protection mode was triggered, assuming the FordPass app notification is sent/received timely enough to use the timestamp to view the log.

I don't think anyone has yet deciphered any logical schedule for when a parked truck communicates with the cloud servers. So when the cloud receives the status update and it contains values that would trigger the notification, is that also when the truck was actually put into protect mode? Is the command to go into protect mode initiated locally in the truck (probably is)? If it is, the truck may have been in protect mode at an earlier time than the moment the cloud receives the data that leads to the FordPass alert.

I've witnessed many times my trucks resting voltage dropping considerably by nothing more than me approaching too closely with the FOB in my pocket. At night, the combination of proximity lighting and power running boards could instantly drop the battery voltage .3V or more. If 12.4 was suddenly 12.1 or less, could that initiate a battery protect mode on some trucks? (not every truck has identical limits and thresholds, obviously)

Here is after 12 hours. This when I left for work. Left my fob away from truck until I got battery to respond and connect to battery monitor.

Can you post the graph for that 12 hours?

Would like to see if it was a linear loss of voltage, or if there looked like some kind of event put a load against it.

That rapid of loss certainly isn't a charging rate issue. No matter how well a battery is charged by the alternator, a substantial parasitic draw or faulty battery is going to fail its mission.

Here is the last 7 days. I park far enough from where I live that the fob is not an issue. Not sure what these drops at night are. I work early morning so I am not even up at those times. My drive is only 10 min each way.

Can you switch to 1 day, for representing that 12 hour slide down?

When I go to one day only shows from midnight of today. Can’t get it to that day for one day. Best I can tell all this started after the last OTA starting with 07.xxx can’t remember what it was. Problems ever since then. Hard part is I can’t get good readings because parking is too far for Bluetooth range.

It does look like one door open event (arrow), but otherwise that's a pretty linear downslide. It AIN'T normal, in my opinion.

No charging strategy could accommodate that voltage drop rate.

Going to watch it again. None of those drops(door opens) are a time when I was at the truck. Will double check everything on same time.

Here is the last 6 hours since I have been at work. Something for sure weird just to track it down.

Gotta be some module(s) not hibernating as designed.

You don't have any dash-cam or OBD adapter staying "awake"? Or device plugged into cigarette lighter port?

The other day I had an appointment and was way early. Sitting in my truck with everything off for 40 min I kept hearing clicking sounds every so often. Not sure if that’s because I had the fob with me.
