Funny as time goes hearing what car guys have to say and reading threads how it seems more first world problem complaints. If you're old enough to know what I'm talking about, post up here.

One that gets me is when guys say a modern vehicle needs more power, is slow, or is underpowered. I get what they're saying but I remember vehicles coming out under 100 hp. A 1982 Toyota pickup had around 97hp. A Ranger that year 73. Don't mention a 74 Mustang 118?

Or what about car stereos. The worst F150 OEM stereo sounds far better than cars many of us grew up with.

Just sayin.....

I love the 2.7 in my truck. But the most fun I've had in a truck was when I had a barebones XLT rental with the 3.3.

It's better to drive a slow car fast than a fast car slow.

I'm old enough to remember when a column shift was old fashioned and the sporty cars had the auto shifter in the floor. Never thought I'd see the day where a kit would come out to take you back. My right arm is in such bad shape with my RSD I wouldn't buy a column shift again but here we go. Just had to add this to this thread.

"One of my AC vents doesn't blow as hard as the others" 😭

Nevermind many cars didn't even have AC back in the day and now they all do.

I had a '76 4 door power nothing slant 6 dart. Rubber floor mat, automatic trans was about the only option. That was pretty frugal.

What was that in?
A '69 Impala. Finding a photo of these once common footwell vents was difficult. My '67 Mustang w/o AC had them, as did all my Chevy's from the 60's. But my '67 Mustang with AC did not. I believe cars with AC did not get them. All mine had only one pull knob, not two.
