Yes they are loud so there is definitely that. Wasn’t sure the noise was just me or not.
How are the wildpeaks in comparison?

I loved the Wildpeaks. Thought I lost very little grip at all and the noise was greatly reduced. Japanese tire, aggressive pricing.

Just put Cooper Discoverer Road and Trail ATs on the F150 and they seem comparable. Only been two weeks on road only but happy so far. Been wanting to support an American tire for a while so hopefully the Coopers stick.

I bought Duratracs on my Tacoma and they were definitely a legit tire but they were too loud. I couldn’t hear phone calls in the truck, ended up trading them for Falken Wildpeaks.

Those are great tires….. had them on the FJ.
I had issues with them staying g balanced.

I heard the same from others but I didn’t experience any problems. Overall good experience.

Since way back when, as soon as we get snow I take my vehicles out to parking lots to see what their dynamics are like in the white stuff. Part fun, part experimentation....but mostly fun. Don't want to figure that out on the road around other vehicles, guard rails, and utility poles.

I recently told that exact thing, to someone living in FL, who had never driven in snow and was freaked about it, with that storm they just had. They had a capable vehicle but no experience.

Told em to find a parking lot, or empty stretch of flat road, hit the throttle and then the brakes. Its the only way to learn what to expect, when "that time" happens.
