Hi all,
I just completed the first oil change at about 5k miles on my 2025 F150 Powerboost. When I pulled the plug to drain the oil, I noticed a bright green fluid came out first and then all the oil. My first thought was antifreeze but - the actual antifreeze is a yellow color...this was a bright fluorescent green and oil has a higher density than water/antifreeze so any antifreeze would collect on the top and come out later I did some searching and apparently sometimes Ford puts a green dye material in with the oil during the manufacturing step to track any potential leaks during quality checks. This must be it. The truck runs fine. Anyone else seen this?
