First New Vehicle - Rattles & Squeaks?

Heya,

My 22 F150 PB is the first new vehicle I've ever owned. I have a couple of little rattles/squeaks that cropped up after 1000KM or so. The vehicle was crashed into, but in the rear side and the cab had no involvement. Sounds were definitely there prior to the crash.

• Squeak/rattle somewhere near where the passenger door and dash come together. It's definitely worse when it's colder outside and before the truck warms up.
• Tapping kinda sound from behind the Sync4 display. Like a tick that seems related to going over bumps
• Small rattle in driver side door right near the center post where it closes

Are these the types of things that I should be going to the dealer with? Do they give a darn about trying to track this stuff down? The truck was sooo silent when I first got it and it's still got less than 2000KM on it.

I want to say that other than the rusty axle housing, the door squeaking is one of the first threads here after people started getting their trucks.

I think I’ve got all the ones you mentioned. Funny enough, over the winter and before temps got up to 25C this week, no rattles and silent. Now that it’s warmed up, they’ve all resurfaced.

I had the annoying tapping sound to the left side of the Sync screen. Thank goodness it stopped after 4 or 5 times. No idea what it was. It sounded electrical.
If they are constant the dealer should be able to solve the three issues, the more difficult situation is an intermittent issue. Good luck

The one between the passenger door and dash seems to be the most consistent and easy to figure out. I am going to get someone to ride with me first and just see if we can pinpoint it by ear before going to the dealer.

I don't have a PB, and had a slight window rattle in the drivers door. I didn't notice it on the test drive because I had all the windows down listening for other things. Noticed it a day or so later, and the rattle isn't present now, I'm sure it will resurface. Nothing that I feel needs to be addressed.
