FDRS - Enable BlueCruise Configuration Password?

Has anyone encountered this in FDRS? I just finished an ambitious project adding the BlueCruise hardware (CMR, LEDs, driver camera, front BLIS, etc) and am now trying to get everything situated in FDRS. I already completed all the available module updates, but I know I am probably missing some steps. The "APIM- Enable BlueCruise Prep Kit" is also not at my disposal (see screenshot). I am hoping that someone like @Jesse-Infotainment or @rugedraw can add some expert insight into my configuration. Here's my VIN for anyone curious and willing to lend a hand.

That is an outdated procedure that was designed to enable BC for job 1 2021 trucks that shipped from the factory with the hardware for BC but no software. That won't work for what you are trying to accomplish. BC is a cloud based service. I'm not sure if what you want to do is possible.

These are all the models of the CMR that would work in the truck. Found them by decompiling the javascript for the "Enable BlueCruise Configuration" procedure in:

C:\ProgramData\Ford Motor Company\FDRS\fdrs\data\otx_app\G2355954_en_US.jar

Further, the script does a check if the vehicle has one of these feature codes present from factory build sheet:

AAAFC (BEV)
AAAD8 (Performance Version)
AAAET (F-150) - (mine)

G2366590 - v. 9/18/23 The "GSW - BlueCruise System Settings Query" procedure checks the configuration for certain COM channels to be open in the ECG (GWM) at DE01, DE17, DE1A, EEE1, 9140, F113, 9140 on both the truck and in GIVIS.

G2355954 - v. 10/18/23 The "Enable BlueCruise Configuration" (which is the one requiring one of the above passwords) actually opens UP the COM channels by writing the configuration values for the APIM, CMR, ECG (GWM) (to communicate to GVIS), IPC, IPMA, and the HS1 and HS2.

G2297613 - v. 1/21/25 The APIM - Enable BlueCruise Prep Kit is the consolidated procedure that is outlined in FSA 22G01. I believe that this is outdated one meant for MY21 Job 1 BC capable trucks without the actual software. The script references much older strategies and config files than I currently have.

So, my THINKING that is that since I have MY23 w/ CoPilot Assist 2.0, added ALL the BC hardware w/ PMI and configurations, AND am up to date on all software, that I can run the Enable BlueCruise Configuration, open those COM lanes, and be recognizable as a BC capable vehicle on the cloud.

This has consumed all my free time for a year... Loved every moment of it.

You are 100% correct.....it is specifically for job 1 2021 trucks that shipped with BC hardware and were missing the firmware and config for BC to work. The problem with the "enable BC config" script (from my understanding of how it works) is that if your Sync modules are too updated, it won't work at all. This is why you are seeing it reference the older strategies. You would have to manually configure the modules associated with BC for it to work.

Based on what you did in your post above, you know a lot more about this than I do. I'm 100% rooting for you to get it working.

Thanks, brother! I'm going to give it a shot tonight and see how it goes. My confidence stems from the Enable BlueCruise Configuration procedure calling to Ford servers directly for writing specific configuration blocks without a full calibration update. There is no software updating that I can find in the script.

What I can tell, these are the changes that are going to be made:

IPMA 706-01-01 (Disables Traffic Jam Assist/Enables Highway Assist)
70E is comms to the HS1

APIM 7D0-09-01 (Auto High Beam Control Function Enabled /Auto Delay Enabled) WEIRD!
7D8 is the comms to the CMR

IPC 720-11-01 (Highway Assist Enable)
728 is comms to the IPMA

GWM 716-02-01 (Not sure, but I believe this enables the GWM to communicate with the server as a BC enabled vehicle.
71E is comms to the IPC

CMR 7C1-01-01 (Configures the CMR)
7C9 is comms to the GWM

7DF is HS2 comms

So, here goes nothing. Will update soon...

Comma3x is one awesome piece of gear, but I had a goal to keep things OEM. Plus it really was just a project to see if it could be done using only this community's wealth of information and my own reverse engineering grit. And it works. I'm working on the full write up on how I cracked this with the help of a little AI and a CANBUS reader.

I have to say, the most impressive thing is the lane changing feature. You just tap the indicator and it makes the change when the lane is clear. Then the indicator goes off on its own.
