Doesn't apply to a used 2021, those came with cards.@Paleus - The 2024s no longer come with the card. You must use the built-in process to get the code from the manual.
They posted VIN in the lookup thread if you are curious.Likely the BCM was replaced.
Ive had someone actually have this exact issue before and they asked me what to do... I had them pull the code in FDRS. It pulled a completely different code. The code FDRS pulled was correct.
My guess as to why this happens is the original code is written into the IPC eprom and there is a bug in it that doesnt overwrite it when the IPC is replaced. I would have to test on the bench to verify this. That would be my GUESS though.
I used this to look up my 2021 a few months ago cause I couldn't find the card with the code. (Did find later.)Doesn't apply to a used 2021.![]()
Yes, process works same in all years.I used this to look up my 2021 a few months ago cause I couldn't find the card with the code. (Did find later.)
My new 2024 code on the screen doesn't match either and didn't work. Only the code from the process works.Yes, process works same in all years.
I did it the day I picked up my used truck from dealer to get the code.
Unusual case here for OP not having matching code on screen to what is really in the truck.
