Retrieve Factory Key Code

I have a new to me 2021 F150 Platinum Powerboost and the truck only came with one key fob. I am in the process of getting a spare but was wondering if there is any way to retrieve my factory key code off a sticker somewhere inside the truck and where that location is on the 2021 models? The truck did not come with the owners card with the factory number on it.

If you are referring to the pin code on door I believe you can retrieve it with Forscan. The alternate method requires two good keys and it will show on the truck dash. Dealer will screw you to program a second key, buy a third and you can do that one yourself with two good keys. Pull battery leave it somewhere safe.

Yes the door PIN code. Do you know where to find the door key code in Forscan?

Look under the service programs.
I remember seeing it in the list but haven't tried it on my 2021.
It was plainly labeled master code or something.
I got the code the day I picked up the truck at dealer with the two keys process so never used the Forscan method.

I thought I read online that it is not available in Forscan on the 2021’s.

Nothing to lose trying it if you already have Forscan. If you don't then someone will probably chime in that knows if it works or not. You'll be able to get the code when you have two working keys of course.

The code is also located on the BCM label under the passenger kick panel. You have to pop off a portion of the door sill plate and then remove the kick panel itself. Not too bad takes just a few minutes to do.

Good to know Ford still puts the code in high security places. ?

I hit a YouTube video and got the code for my dad's new to him 2012 Escape in about five seconds.

I check the panel on the passenger side and the code was NOT there fyi.

On my '15 F150 it was on the module behind the passenger side floor trim, but the sticker was on the side facing the exterior. I had to stick my phone back there and take a picture to get the code. I haven't looked there on the 21.
