Well not totally randomly...but when I am on my wireless AA, EVERY.SINGLE.TIME i go over the 676 ben franklin bridge from philly to new jersey, it will cut off. (for those of you that might know the area:

some where around here and exactly around here. Both ways, coming in and out,

At first i thought it was random glitch or something, but having gone that route numerous times, I can now tell it is literally that spot I have posted (or rather very close to it). Even before I get to it, I will know my AA will cut off.

As far as I Can tell its not our EZPASS (aka toll pass), since other ez pass booths don't seem to effect it, nor is it when I pass the actual tollbooth..its often right before it, as shown in the link above.

For the life of me idk if its an issue on my truck, or something else.

I'm in New Mexico and there is one spot on I25 where Android Auto loses signal almost all the time. It's exactly as you describe, where it doesn't make sense because everything that might cause interference doesn't pose a problem elsewhere. If I turn Bluetooth and wifi off on my phone and back on it reconnects.

I don't have the exact spot in the map but it's right at the town of Belen. I feel like it has to be a signal thing with Android and my phone. However I live in a small town with minimal commute so I don't see it happen very often; only when I take trips to Albuquerque. Annoyingly curious.

I run a VPN so wireless AA wont work but I used to have an issue like this whenever I crossed the bridge from Kentucky to Ohio in Cincinnati...annoying...my SYNC nav would go crazy too and I'd have to power cycle the whole thing for it ro regain its composure.

Happens to me all the time even with a wired connection. It is beyond annoying. Galaxy S23 Ultra.

I have two vehicles with wireless AA and they both drop at the exact same place. I'm assuming it's some kind of interference issue, I don't think it has anything to do with the phone or truck.

I opened an issue with Samsumg for my S23 Ultra doing this - really randomly dropping the wireless android auto connection, no pattern or specifically repeatable location. Wired works fine.

Samsung responded with "sudden increase in packet retransmission seen in log. Next time this happens do an in depth log capture with *#9900#
And entering a file location to save to. That code does nothing on my phone so no extra log from me.

Looks like a Sync 4 issue unless everyone has a S23 Ultra.

Galaxy S23 Ultra. Yes. Was connecting fine, no issues. About a month ago, I would pull out from the house, AA would connect, Waze map would come up and Amazon Music would start playing, then after a mile or two SYNC would lose the BT connection and it was dead until I shut down and started up again. On a recent long trip it did that and at the next traffic light when I stopped, I quickly shut the truck off, opened and closed the door (kill the power to SYNC) and started back up before the light went green. Everything worked fine for the next two hours. Today it did it on a cross-town trip, and I simply rebooted SYNC. Everything connected fine and stayed connected. I'm guessing an update changed something, as I was not having this issue. I don't think it is the phone, as rebooting SYNC will get the connection going again and it stays connected. All I know to do is wait and see if the next push resolves it.

Don't go to the trouble of shutting off the truck and opening doors.
Just press power + fast foward for 10 seconds until sync reboots.
Together!

I have AA and s21ultra. Rarely have trouble but when connection of any reason stops that resets it every time.

I have the same issue with a single spot in Rural Minnesota passing by Heron Lake. But I have Apple, so the issue you are seeing may not have anything to do with it being AA. Probably some kind of hot spot for alien communications or some crazy government shit going on there. I'm just glad I don't live in the area.

Passing by Heron Lake is just the same, suddenly my Apple Air Play just cuts out, as soon as I'm past the town it comes right back on.

The exact same spot on Rt4 in Ohio with multiple trips to confirm (On my way to AIM, lol). Its in a bend and I can point to it on a map at the exact location it cuts out. I'm almost certain it only happens going one direction and not the other because that part of the road is divided by woods. Drives me nuts.

Mine would cut out consistently when passing the local Ford dealer, ironically. Doesn't do it any more.
