With all three sections flipped up against the window, how far does it hang over the bed? I'm thinking about the lost space if I carry an ATV in the bed.
I lose about 4 or 5 inches. It’s two wing nuts and the cover is out though. Rails take up next to no room on the sides

I've found most leak pretty badly. After lots of research I found Lomax to be the best. I first ordered the full bed open but none of them actually allow you to use your full bed. They all take up some space and are bolted in. So I went with the regular Lomax bedcover so I can Lift it out and put in the back seat area when I need to use the full bed. This has happened and if I would have had the full fold up it would have been in the way causing problems with the loading. Best decisions I made getting the regular version. It's has kind of a line-x like coating and texture. I love it. Amazing bed cover and I can take it out without any tools just tilt and lift it out. Going through high pressure car washes might have a little moisture around the tailgate but no standing water like other covers I've seen. That little bit of moisture only happens with high pressure car washes. Heavy down poors in the south and it is dry as a bone. The Ford covers seem to be the worst.

The Lomax cover is the way to go. I dithered endlessly as to whether it was worth getting the bed access Lomax or original. I chose the original Lomax and couldn't be happier.

It keeps out rain, offers security and is so low profile it's nearly unnoticeable. I added some of adaracs tie down cleats to the rails for their rack system and I've even strapped items down on top of the cover.

Did I mention made in the US? The best part is, when you call for support, the people on the phone actually know their product and want to help you. I would gladly pay for this cover/rack system over and over again for this alone.

In the off chance I need the front of bed I just pop the cover off and lean it against one of the wheel wells in the bed. It's only about 3 inches folded up. Fantastic product.

I had a bakflip mx4 on my last truck and it too minor damage from hail … if you looked at it in the right light you could see the hail damage.
I now have a bakflip f1 it has been through some minor hail as well no damage and no fading or water issues .

I have had the Bak Flip MX4 on the last three trucks that I have owned. Very satisfied with their quality. I haven’t been in a hail storm so I don’t know how they would handle that.
