F150 Built but not shipped.

My F150 was Built as of June 4th, yet 3 weeks later, it's still at Dearborn Truck. My dealer is located in Dearborn. My salesman told me another customer received his already and he ordered his after I did. If Ford could at least tell me why shipping is delayed...or anything....rather than nothing...I wouldn't be as upset.

I had radio silence after "In Production". Then it was magically built and delivered within 4 days. Chat, Marketing, and Dealer all had bad info.

Order was built 04/22 and is sitting at Cooper's yard with no info and certainly no help from Chat or Marketing. This is really frosting me. Destination charges are for prompt delivery IMHO. Ford should be ashamed of this level of commitment.

Mine was built 1/3/24 -- I've tried the new vehicle tracker and the chat several times. Zip.

Yep, ordered mine 12/3 and was built 2/7/24. Estimated delivery has been bumped every two weeks by two weeks since March. Fast forward 5 months, still waiting. The dealer or Ford cannot/will not tell why the delay. Hope you have a better experience.

I wonder if built means built and inspected or if inspection related delays happen between built and shipped?

Don't hold your breath. I had the same problem with my 24 KR order. It sat in some parking lot for 6 weeks after it was released to the trucking company. All the while, trucks that were just rolling off the Assy. line were being loaded right on to the delivery truck. Ford does nothing to monitor the trucking company's performance as to how long they let vehicles sit. No priority is given to special orders over dealer inventory. 6 weeks to get it loaded on a truck, after sitting for another two months after being built and held along with all the other early 24 builds. The longer it sits in that Rouge fall out zone, the dirtier it will get from all that industrial crap falling out of the sky. I am still cleaning it out of little nooks and crannies after two months. When it comes to customer service, Ford sucks.

If they did ship today, could your dealer deliver with the problem they have from the cyber hack? Another hurdle you may have to deal with.
