I also do not specifically know about the 2025 but I do know with the 21 and 22's. The BAP came with the different hood. It can be known of as the "Tremor" hood and that is what the Tremor came with. It is very different from the normal hood and there are threads here about this very topic.

The first picture shows the BAP Tremor hood from a 2022 and you will see it is very straight in the front bottom of the hood. the normal F-150 hood has a curve to it.

Us older BAP people waited years for a rock deflector to be made to fit the BAP Tremor hood. I think there are finally 2 people that make one and the one you see me installing on my 2022 BAP is Weathertech.

I got an Aeroskin under the HUSKY brand name for my Tremor hood.

The fit is perfect. What was not perfect was the double-sided 3M tape which was attached too close to the edge and we had to trim a little bit away but otherwise it’s good.

Installed the Weathertech piece today. I like it. Hugs the hood real well. At first I had hoped it would have been flush with the sides but then thought maybe it's better that way so the carwash won't catch an edge. The tape is holding good for now but we'll see over time.

Yeah, that’s the one I decided to use as well. Install wasn’t quite as bad as I figured it was going to be.

So after a couple months now the hood protector is staying as flat as it did and looks as good the day I installed it even at the corners. It's like a part of the hood now lol. I usually get my truck washed at Proshine every couple weeks so that gives you an Idea of its durability. So glad I chose Weather Tech!

Hard to compare b/c most of us will have either one or the other

I have the Auto Ventshade (AVS) Aeroskin, which is now sold under the Husky brand. Currently $81. Love it. Fit is great and it is definitely on there permanently. No trouble with car washes. As someone above said, to get it off the truck you're going to have to break it.

From my observation, looks like the AVS aeroskin may be a little taller, climbing up the hood further, offering slightly more protection....
I have one of those pliable vinyl / rubber sheet ones on my 24 tacoma, my guess is if we've wanted to remove them we would have to use a heat gun to loosen the adhesion.
Well, atleast ide like to hope so....

Keep in mind you're looking at 2 different hoods. Mine is a Tremor that comes with the BAP so the style may be a little different.

WeatherTech fit great and has been through many car washes with no issues. Just follow the intructions and all is good!

So does anyone have an actual bug deflector instead of a hood protector? Something with a kick up on the trailing edge to keep bugs and pebbles off your windshield?
