thanks, i just found some on Amazon, bought two different sizes. i believe that this plastic piece does come off separately, but not sure.
Just make sure it's not too cold out, wipe it with rubbing alcohol, apply the tape end to end, leaving extra at each end. carefully cut each end with razor blade. Afterwards rub the tape in with a clean cloth to assure adhesion. ... Done!

I bought some inexpensive pinstriping tape in a couple different sizes. used 1/2" to do this.
Left it in place, just to see if i liked the look. I may paint it this summer, and swap our front tow hooks for RED ones.

Added since monday- rear ford under fender liners, plastidip the chrome on edge of running boards, matte black F-150 letters on tailgate, 15% tint all around, matte black ??Flag decals on both doors, lt275/65r20 mickey thompson baja boss tires, ford bedmat and bed extender, bak mx4 hard tri-fold bedcover. Loving the truck, had originally ordered a XLT 302a pkg. but found this at another dealer willing to negotiate so I got it.

Pretty much exactly what I did. Found the lariat above, decided not to be a cheap ass, got the thumbs up from the wife and pulled the trigger.

Hi Everyone, Didn't know we had our own lounge! Picked up mine on Jan 12th. 2022 Lariat 5.0, Sport Package, 502a, 3.73 rear locking axle, Co-pilot 360 assist 2.0, Max trailer tow, B&O Unleashed sound system, 20” dark alloy wheels, bed utility package, 360 degree camera package. Factory spray-in bed liner, wheels wheel covers.

What I have done in the two months of ownership:
Removed Chrome Skull caps and installed black ones
Auto start/stop disable device
Tires: Nitto Ridge Grapplers 295/65R20
2.5" Mammoth Level
Raised F-150 Lettering for tailgate
Black Lug nuts
Garmin front and rear dashcam
Screen protector for 12" center screen

This Thursday it goes to the tint guy for a couple of hours. I am having them match the front windows to the back and installing 0% ceramic on the back passenger windows and the rear window, to try to cut the heat into the cab. I am heavily debating if I want the 0% on the front window. Some reviews I have read people hate it especially at night, others love it. But that will drastically reduce the heat even further in the cab and help preserve the dash from UV etc. Or use the tried and true method of putting in the window screen every single time.

Looking to color match the front and rear Ford emblems and then do something like black out the side emblems. This coming up weekend I am going to remove and paint the chrome exhaust tip black.

I love this damn 2022 503a so much... I could actually have gotten one of these - sent it to Shelby America - let them make it a Shelby Truck with the 750hp package on it... and ALMOST have been able to sell my 2021 GT500 to pay for it... just would miss my time at Watkins Glenn without the car... but it's legit THAT nice!

I can not get over how maneuverable it is - i have the super cab (not crew) but the 6.5 bed - and the freaking 360 camera package lets you get into and out of things you NEVER could have without another person waving their hands and yelling at you.

So far - I haven't really found anything I'm not happy with... which is pretty amazing!
