Exhaust sound improvement / mod for 2023 5.0 F-150?

Hey everyone, wanting to do something with the exhaust on my 23 5.0. Don’t really want to spend what companies are asking for a car back exhaust so what are people doing otherwise to make their trucks sound better?

I’m putting miles on the factory exhaust. I decided when using the generator during Ian that it would’ve sucked with a loud azz exhaust.
The stock exhaust is burning out after only 5k just fine enough for me.

I love the sound of the corsa extreme but not a big fan of the price!!

Finally got my video to upload! This has been on the truck over a year and it still makes me smile! This is a vibrant ultra quiet resonator, with the factory resonator deleted and factory muffler deleted. The resonator was placed in factory position with 3in pipe welded in to make the run down the truck to factory over axle piece.
Now just trying to figure out how I want to run a tip. I’m an STX truck so I just have bare pipe out the back. Thinking axle dump or nice high tucked tip.

It would look that but a gloss black tip only on drivers side. This is what my bumper looks like now.

Muffler delete and call it a day/ You get the glorious 5.0 howl and you don't spends hundreds of dollars. If you don't like it , its an easy fix.

That’s what i think i’m going to be doing! Love the sounds of the 5.0 with just the muffler delete!

I purchased the Magnaflow catback, had tips powdercoated gloss black...sounded good...for 2 weeks

The CD drove me insane...sold it, stock went back on.

My advice is be ready to go back to stock so don't trash anything, in case you dislike the Honda with a fart pipe sound.

Buy once, cry once.....LOL. My exhaust is probably the best mod done to my truck. It was not cheap...but how much are we paying for these trucks again? Just buy and enjoy.....and tell the Mrs that a rat ate your muffler or something...

I have a 2022 F150 with 5.0 Idling with stock is kinda mellow ,but under hard accelaration it has a pleasing tone

And if you do it right you can unclamp the exhaust from just behind the resonator so if you don’t like it you can reinstall the stock exhaust

I did the muffler delete, i removed the clamp from behind the resonator and had a dump off installed to exit just behind the passenger door and before the rear tire. I also installed a tip that has baffles it in just to lower the noise a bit. It’s loud at 6am when I do a cold start but by the time I start driving it’s fine.

Added a Blackwidow Venom 250 Series Muffler, I love the deep sound it gives it’s mid aggressive sound.

I agree 100% on the assinine price of cat backs. $1500 for pipe and muffler? Dumb.

Buy a magnaflow or flowmaster muffler and have a shop weld it on, if you do not weld yourself.

Should be well under $500

Couldn’t agree more, insane to pay over a grand for a muffler and a short piece of pipe exiting the side.
Im able to buy the welder and all the pieces to do it and still be less money. Which is what I’m going to do when I move into my new house ?
