So I updated my TRM March 21st and I have this same s/w version.
maybe this is the latest that address the recall? Or there’s something more to it?

FordPass had alerted me of the recall. No the error was in regard to your vin and not being avilable gfor the bulletin. It jsut stuck out and now I cant find it
sorry this wasnt even supposed to be in here this was for a guy I was messaging.FordPass had alerted me of the recall.
So a couple thoughts here. Most of the folks here are able to peer into FRDS and see whats what. Yeah there was no TRM module present in FRDS last night, but if they release the recall AND it shows up in FordPass... you would think they are ready to go right?@Shoebox72069 @rpeterslll Yall have the same software version as me, and I updated back in Mid-Feb so I don't think you got the TRM recall done.
Yep they shouldn't have announced the recall until the actual update was available. It seems like alot of folks are visiting dealers today and being told they got the update when in reality they almost certainly did not get the recall update. So a couple thoughts here. To me it seems like it would be a huge failure to tell the customer via FordPass hey we got an update for you..........and then to not get the update appropriately applied.
Seems like a massive amount of risk.
It's possible they are releasing a recall and "re-wickering" the whole 21G01 process with more detail and better instructions because so many techs are floundering with the way 21G01 is written now.I just have a hard time believing this. If there was a huge recall coming they would have already pulled the module updates from FDRS and the folks that are in EAP would stop getting the updates via OTA as well. If it's sooooo bad why is the software still out there?
I agree, this is assuming we correctly assumed a later software version than what we have before March 31st is an indicator of the fix in the software for this. There may be something more going on we don't even understand. Which is why Ford needs to give us some more info on these recalls and module software versions in some document form or in FordPass. So a couple thoughts here. My dealer was doing another truck for the recall last week or so. Got everything started and learned there was no TRM available yet. Boy was he pist.Yep they shouldn't have announced the recall until the actual update was available.
