Gotcha! Gas here is back to 5.50 a gallon for reg so I may be giving the ol eco mode a try
$5.50? Ouch!
I would say that if you normally drive with a little bit of a heavy foot, you will very likely see a difference in MPG - you CAN feel the difference in throttle response when in Eco Mode. However, if you normally drive with a lighter foot, the differences will be much more subtle.

Yep and that’s at a non top tier station. We just had another gas tax go into effect on 1, July thanks to our governor who’s just doin a kick ass job. I’m always super happy to give back to the state that’s been so good to me

You have to spin a 180 pretty quickly to get a kick "in the ass" from Governor Newsom!
...that's not what he's aiming for.

Just fyi, your dials above are blue so you are in normal mode, not eco. Eco mode color will be green. ?
Good catch! Sharp eyes out there!

And at least in my case, you accidentally swerved into another point - I had totally forgotten that you can get an "Eco report" through My View settings. This begs the question - is that "report" valid for the driving mode you happen to be in at the time, or is it overall? I'm guessing that you will get a different report for each driving Mode - I don't know - just guessing. I'll have to play with that next time I'm in the truck. Does it reset when you perform a reset on MPG, trip ODO, etc.? Just curious...

Someone from the Department of Energy will be in touch with you to schedule your mandatory re-education.

It is a report based on your current trip. When you turn off the truck, it resets.

It does not have different rules depending on the drive mode you are in afaik. But, Eco mode will make it easier to achieve a better eco report due to the lightened throttle response. Sport mode will make your throttle peppier so that will make it more difficult to accelerate gently.

Braking and Speed are not affected by drive modes.
