The Starlink mini came in. I still need the 12V to USB-C PD 100W 20V/5A converter, the Starlink mini to USB-C adapter, and the roof mount.

Designing and installing cool stuff is such a blast! 😊What a fun time to be alive eh?

Just FYI, it'll run off of a 60watt source too. I've run one for a couple of hours with a handheld Anker battery pack with a 60watt USB-C port.

I have this mount coming from Veritas Vans, and they offer a battery pack. Might be handy if I need to move it off the roof for signal or something? Costs more than the mount, so I am passing initially. I am going to attach metal discs to the fiberglass roof with VHB and then magnet mount the mini.

Starlink options are a hoot!

You'll be out of water, out of propane, out of coffee,....... But never out of touch!

House batt voltage input gives negotiated 20/5 100W output plus another 36W charging port 😊

I’m still waiting on the Veritas Vans mount, but I am acquiring tools and supplies as the need arises. A little cordless Dremel for gently enlarging or making holes. Snap in grommets for the holes I make. Wago 221 lever nuts to make solid connections in tight spaces. They seem to use butt crimps for taps exclusively.

I'm always surprised at how good a turning radius my parents E450 has for its size
I take it slow and easy around turns and she just manages!
We took a day trip to Mt. Dora just to walk around the downtown and enjoy the day during the season. I was concerned about the narrow streets and tree branches, but we rolled in like we owned the place getting a few nods and found some room in the back of public parking just outside the little downtown. šŸ˜‚

My wife took advantage of the restroom before we began our stroll. 😊
It’s a different pace for sure, but I love it!

2023 PB 501a 4x4 short bed 7.2KW. PL=1658lbs.
A couple things I had to get into my head, was the significantly bigger width and height, re overhead obstacles and tree branches, as well as tail swing.

Its easy to burn into your brain that you're 11'4" tall or whatever for bridges, or better yet, use an RV safe mapping program but the rest of that stuff, doesn't have signs and requires a sort of Kentucky Windage.

Slow is Pro and no shame in using a spotter either.

Those things are most on my mind as I drive. I’m thinking about it before we decide where we’re going lol.
