Don’t Harvest Hosts often have grassy parking areas?

So far, they have run the full gamut, from dippy grassed lawn, that could have been trouble if wet, to flat concrete, in good condition.

Upgrade if you like. I would at least research it and get time estimates but I wouldn't let it interfere with the prime camping weather we're about to have.

It'll probably come with a yr. of roadside assistance and most ins. policies have towing, if not far from a road.

I think Snake is right and you have time to figure it out.
Its not fun getting stuck but it is part of the journey.

We got to the "RV Resort" after dark. All the water fun was already shut down. I had 2 pouting little granddaughters that had been waiting all school week to play.

Alas, those under blanket bundles of energy were soon to awaken to a gorgeous beach morning.

If I lived out west, and I desired to do some awesome desert mountain boondocking? That'd be the ticket for sure.

I haven't seen a version of camping yet that isn't more desirable than not camping.

That’s my concern. My truck is no off road machine but it does have 4WD to get me out of a grass parking area after a rain shower.

I wonder how helpless the heavy class C will be in that situation. Duallies will help but

A set of recovery boards may be just the ticket for wet grass and a whole lot cheaper/easier than a LS. Plus then you can mount them on the side of your rig and everyone will know that you "adventure"

Absolutely! I can do a homemade rear lift with wooden blocks. Slap some recovery boards on the side. Add a couple of those cool metal gas cans on the back, be the darling of the campground on my nice level concrete pad with full hookups
