No other BCM changes. I am getting the "system off to save battery" message now on my sceen. Do you think messing around with forscan today drained the battery and the truck knows this and wont turn on the welcome lights to conserve battery?
Charge your battery.

Battery sits at 12.6
Now or when you where messing with the forscan?
Did you get your values back to factory?
Interior lights working?
Welcome Lighting working?
You can cover the ambient sensor on the dash.

Sorry - I hooked up my battery charger and it showed 12.6. I think this happened when I enabled and then disabled the unreal theme. So, I double checked my APIM. Everything looked stock, but i reloaded my as-built again anyway. Still no interior lights or remote start/lock / unlock from my app. Then, I removed my truck from the app and added it again. Good, new is, interior lights work again and so does remote lock/unlock/start. Just have to wait until dark to see if welcome (exterior lights) work again.

Just did this mod for the brighter DRLs and was so confused. Thought I messed something up because every time i got out to check them, the DRLs were off. Even went back to factory settings in Forscan. Little did I know, can't be in park. Had the wife help out so i could check after finding this thread. Also discovered the truck puts itself in Park when it's in neutral and I exit the truck. Took me a minute to figure that out. Thanks everybody for the posts because I would have lost my mind.

I'm glad you got it all squared away, enjoy! As for the truck putting itself in park, is a good feature but can be annoying if you open the door to look behind especially when using a trailer, but you'll get used to opening the door then shift it out of park to drive to prevent the auto shift park.

Folks - a little stumped here - tried both methods for brightening up the DRLs - BCM: 726-42-01 -> x2x2 - xxxx - xxxx ; and 726-38-01 ---> xxxx 5Axx xx. When saving it is telling me in effect that these are incompatable configuraiton changes. Hints and tips welcomed - mind you I have made plenty of other forscan tuning changes to our truck without issues....It is a 2020 Lariat with the 5.0 - Thanks in advance.

Because this won’t work on 13 gens (2015-2020), this is for 2021+.

I will check to see what it is for the 2020 year, or someone can chime in to help?

Thank you Nightshade - Duh. ...your hint caused me to dig deeper in other forums and I tripped across the following which I think you had a hand in - about to try these settings next:

DRL - Position Lamp Cfg
BCM 726-29-02 x1xx xxxx xxxx
position lamps at full brightness like Super Duty

Hello, I was looking into this mod for my 2017 f150 and was wondering if it's the same line in forescan? I seen another user say they did it to their 2016 F150. Just wanted to make sure the same forescan string works for the 2017 and it's not just for the 2021.

Thanks

Hello! It is definitely different. Try this out for your older gen truck. But PLEASE make the backup of your original file BEFORE attempting to change this. This way you can revert it back to your old file if this doesn’t work. *Try at own risk. ; Change the following in BCM line and report back:

BCM: 726-29-02 -> 0100 0001 005A

^This worked on my 2017 and my 2020.

Upon checking my notes, noted have tons from the past haha, that’s the same as built. Maybe try the following:

BCM: 729-29-02 -> x1xx xxxx xxxx

Restore your BCM to the previous newest backup if you made it, if you didn’t make any changes till now then proceed with the change above. Ignore the other values, just change the value in place of ”1”.

Anyone know the APIM change to allow toggling DRL on and off in settings in a Canadian truck?

Yes. Canadian truck since I’m in Canada; you can. Here’s proof of mine.

To add a twist, while maintaining Glare Free?
That’s on my 21 XLT 302A (work). Have the same change on my 22 Lariat 502A (personal) works just the same way, both has the change. It doesn’t interfere with it, just temporary turns it off. DRL is usually the LED bar.

Ok so what is the Forscan change that needs to be made if you don't mind? Glare free toggle and the DRL toggle switch.
